Hi, I’m Yachi from Taiwan. I have been a student at Taronja for 7 weeks by now, time goes by so fast. I believe I improved my Spanish during this time because I could not speak one complete sentence in the first week of Spanish classes. Besides, I like Valencia, it is a beautiful city, there are different museums, an old town and the beach. I also like Taronja School because the teachers are patient and kind, I have learned a lot with them and the students. I live with a great family and so I can also practice Spanish with them. Well, Valencia is a good experience for me and I hope I will return soon. See you soon!

Hi, I’m Mary from Canada. Taronja School is the best! I studied Spanish in Valencia for six weeks and I am very happy I chose this school. The Spanish classes have the perfect number of people and are always fun. Sometimes Sergio, a teacher, brings his guitar and plays songs in Spanish and we all sing together. In the Spanish classes we talked a lot and in just six weeks I feel like I’ve learned a lot. Outside the classrooms is the Spanish school also amazing. Every day there is some kind of activity that is always fun. The past weekend, for example, we went to La Albufera where the paella was invented and ate delicious and very typical food of Spain. The parties are fun too! I have met many interesting people here in Taronja and I am sad because I’m leaving. If your going to Taronja you will not regret it.

I’m Hye Min from South Korea. I am in Valencia for 3 month with my uncle’s family. In Valencia I go to school to learn Spanish and to get to know many people here. I like the people of Valencia because they are very kind and friendly. I like the buildings and the beach. I love the Spanish food called «Paella» with seafood.

Víctor, professor at Taronja

I’m Víctor, although my full name is Víctor Manuel, what a long name, right? Well, I’m just named like that because my parents liked the singer Víctor Manuel. What would have happened if I had been a girl? Well, my parents had a plan B, which was to name her like his wife Ana Belén, who is also a singer. My Spanish Philology studies ended in 2009 and since 2011 I work at Taronja School, so I’m the youngest professor at the Spanish school. I enjoy being a Spanish teacher because every day I learn new things and meet people with different nationalities. As for my hobbies, I like going to the cinema, the beach, soccer, and I am devoted to Deportivo Coruña (soccer team) thanks to Bebeto. And above all, I love Formula 1, I do never miss a race, at whatever time it is. The problem is that none of my colleagues understands F1 and so I can not share my impresiones with them, but I have hope that Carlos and Sergio may reconsider. A hug to all my colleagues and students!

Hello!

If you want to study Spanish come to Taronja! It has many advantages. It’s in Valencia, beautiful city with diverse architecture from Roman times up to today. You will find places for every desire. Museums, gardens and parks. But most important is the school team that cares about you, answers all questions and organizes various activities. The Spanish teachers are all very nice and teach grammar via different topics so you never get bored! Nobody kills you if you make a mistake! For me «super»! You’re running into Spanish students from countries all around the world. Accommodation: I was lucky: my host took care of me like I was a baby (we always drank!). All this accompanied by the sun (normaly!). In addition, a 20 minute bus or subway ride and you are at the beach… ¡ Viva Taronja! ¡Viva Valencia!
