Mi tiempo en Valencia
Me encanta vivir en Valencia. La ciudad es bonita, joven y viva. Siempre hay algo de hacer,
nunca un día aburrido. El tiempo es genial, el centro es maravilloso y histórico y siempre 
es conveniente de tener una playa muy cerca. La gente son muy simpática y tranquila. 
No pienso de irme ya.

Mi tiempo en la escuela
Me he gustado mucho `trabajar´ con la escuela Taronja. Para mi era una oportunidad de 
mejorar mi Español, sin sentarme en una clase todo el rato y de conocer unas personas 
increíbles. He llegado a conocer la escuela Taronja como una Familia grande y caloroso, 
exactamente como las salas de clases son las personas, simpáticas, divertidas y todas con 
su propia personalidad. Me he encantado de ayudar con las actividades y de estar cerca las 
otras estudiantes, pero mi cosa favorita de todo fue sin duda plastificar las cosas.  
Gracias por todo y seguro que nos vemos en las noches de paella y otras actividades!

  Gaia, Luana, Greta, Giorgia: Hello! We are Italians from «Gadda Rosselli». We went to Valencia for a week and we liked it a lot. First of all because of the funny clases and second because of the activities out of the school. We have visited the old part of the city, the central market, we have cooked a very nice paella and we have made graffiti and also we have danced salsa. The weather wasn’t the best because it rained but we have passed good with the families and our friends. Kabir: The teachers are nice and the clases are funny and interesting. Andreas: We have learned new words and how to improve the language. Paolo: We have learned a lot during the clases in a funny way, laughing a lot. The activities were funny. We have liked it a lot. Alessia: My experience in Taronja School is been very funny. ¡I have liked it a lot! The teachers are really nice and the activities are very interesting. Andrea: I have liked Taronja School a lot because the teachers are nice and the activities were very funny but my favorite activities are the activities where we went ons the street to ask thing at young, Spanish people to improve our learning of the language. Hello! We are Giorgia, Grazana, Marina y Paola and we are Italian students and today we like to tell about our week in Valencia. Our experience was very positive and useful to improve our Spanish. We did a lot of activities and as well we participated with the clases where they kept asking questions so we were always speaking in Spanish. Our families are lovely and friendly. During dinner they asked about our lives in Italy, the habits and what we want to do when we get older. the food was very tasty and delicious. With the school we made typical dishes like: tapas, paella, Fideua an gazpacho. One night we had salsa clases and that was the perfect ending for this beautiful experience. Sara: I have liked Valencia because it’s an active city although the weather didn’t help. Alexia: Valencia is a pleasing and interesting city split in two parts: the old part which is very tradicional and where you can eat something typical and the new part which is very modern and where we can go for shopping. Matteo: I have liked the salsa lesson and the tapas. Laura: Valencia is a city that i’ve loved a lot and it’s a city where you can party. I’ve seen San Vicente and I’ve liked it a lot and it went really well. Véronica: I’ve liked Valencia very much  because it’s and interesting city and also lovely. I’ve liked the monuments and the old part of the city. Hello! We are an Italian group with students of the school «Gadda Rosselló» and we can say that our experience in Taronja School and in Valencia was wonderful and full of interesting and fantastic activities. The teachers from the school were young and friendly and they showed us the beauty of the city of Valencia. The families were available and welcoming and made us thankful for the Spanish food. Sure we will come back to Valencia! Hello! This week has been wonderful. We visited a lot of interesting places like: the North station which was very original, the church of San Nicolas which was awesome, the central market which was very different in comparison with other markets, the fish market which was very big and in general the city of Valencia what us left with our mouth open. Also a thank you to the friendly people. We did very funny activities like how to make graffiti, asking to people about the city and its traditions, making up a country, dancing salsa, having a cooking class, doing group games and a lot more also a thank you to the teachers. In conclusion we can say that this week has  been unforgettable. This week has been wonderful, funny and it made us improve our Spanish. The teachers have been very friendly and the clases interesting because the temes we discussed about have been attractive, the school is original and colorful which we have liked a lot.  The activity we liked the most has been the one with the graffiti because it’s something for youth. During some projects we had to speak with people from the street: most of the people, in particular young people have been very friendly and able to help us while some older people have been angry and nervous. With the weather we haven’t had luck: it rained the first few days so that’s why we couldn’t enjoy the city at its fullest. In conclusion the trip to Valencia has been special and we would like to do it another time: we recommend it to who wants to have fun and learn the language.

Yo fui becario de Taronja durante 11 semanas. Era un tiempo muy especial y muy guay que disfrutaba mucho. Ser becario en la escuela no solo significa que trabajas y aprendes español pero también que conoces a mucha gente nueva de países y culturas muy diferentes. Todos los profesores y todos los que trabajan para Toronja son muy amables, divertidos y te ayudan con cualquier cosa. No puedes comparar la clase y los profesores con los de tu instituto. Además me encanta la ciudad, la gente en Valencia y la atmósfera. ¡Estoy seguro que voy volver a Toronja y disfrutar otro viaje!

GIULIO, RICCARDO, LORENZO, AURORA, VALENTINA Hello! We’re students at the Bruno Franchetti school in Venezia. Thanks to the week spent in Taronja School we have learned a lot in a funny way and the lessons were never boring. We have liked a lot going around the streets and talk to people, like when we went to the Central Market. The city of Valencia is really good and people here are calm and helpful. We recommend this experience in Taronja because the professors are experienced and funny. It has been a bomb! If you don’t believe it, come try it. GIANLUCA, FRANCESCO, ILARIA, MARCO Hello, how are you guys? We are just fine, we have spent an amazing week. In Taronja we’ve learned a lot about culture and spanish language. We’ve really liked Valencia because it’s a crazy and calm city at the same time! The professors are really experienced and funny, they know how to increse interest because we have only done practical activities for the real life and to learn the language. We are looking forward to come back, thanks for everything! (¡Jolin!) OLEG, MARCO, ALESSIA, CHIARA, RICCARDO We have liked the school very much. It’s really interactive, because we have seen monuments and learn new words and different expressive forms everyday. The professors are really funny and pleasant, they know how to entertain the young. We have really liked to have discussions about topics regarding newness, that we need to live in Spain and talk in a better way. SARA, MARIO, MATTEO, RICCARDO, ELEONORA We have liked Valencia very much, most of all the modern part of the city, but the ancient part too. All the professors have been helpful and nice. I think I’m gonna miss everything about Valencia. The thing we liked the most has been the climate: it’s very hot and sunny everyday. There’s a lot of people in the streets too, during the night and the tapas are really good. We are amazed by Valencia, it’s a really good city, people is really open and funny and the weather is beautiful. We don’t want to come back to Italy! During this week I’ve become spanish. I’ve seen the Mestalla stadium and I’m in love with Valencia Footbal Club (and Paula, the girl from the stadium). Valencia it’s a beautiful city, almost like Lecce, my city. I’m gonna come back one day! Valencia, the city of oranges, has amazed us just like its joyful life, its citizens and its varoius meals. A part of our history goes through here and we’re never going to forget it. ANDREA, CAMILLA, FRANCESCA, LEONARDO, PIETRO School: we have like it. The professors were nice and helpful, lessons were interesting and activities were generally well organized, except for the movie, because we didn’t have time for a discussion after the vision and it needed subtitles in order to be understood by non mother tongue speaker. Family: they were nice, helpful (to change timetables too) and they always cooked rich and good meals. City: despite Valencia it’s a big city, we have been doing just fine. Plus, we have liked the monuments and famous places. Things we liked: night life, the beach and the Ciudad de las ciencias. We recommend this trip to the other students of our age. EMMA, GIULIA, MARTINA, SILVIA, CAROLINA, ILARIA, BEATRICE We have spent a beautiful week here! We have learned new words, new expressions and traditions too. What a lucky coincidence to be here in a period of celebration! The things we liked the most have been the Ciudad, the Mascleta, the beach and the paella. Concerning the school, we have really liked doing interactive activities in the streets, like for example asking questions to citizens and the visit at the Mercado Central. We have really been doing just fine with the professors and the families too. We have loved the fact that the school was in the centre of the city because there are many bars and shops to go during the free time. Everything was beautiful! It’s an experience we recommend to all the students.

Gracias a la semana pasada en la escuela Taronja hemos aprendido muchisimo en manera devertida y las clases nunca han sido pesadas. Nos ha gustado mucho dar una vuelta por las calles y hablar con la gente, como cuando hemos ido al Mercado Central. La ciudad de Valencia es muy bonita y las personas aquí son muy traquilas y disponibles. Recomendamos esta experiencia en Taronja porque los profesores son muy preparados y simpáticos. ¡Nos los pasamos bomba! Si no lo creéis, venid a probar. GIANLUCA CASALE, FRANCESCO BORTOLETTI, ILARIA CHIODI, MARCO BERLIN ¡Hola! ¿Come estais chicos? Nosotros muy bien, hemos pasado una semana maravillosa. En Taronja hemos aprendido muchas cosas sobre la cultura y la lengua española. ¡Valencia nos ha gustado mucho porque es en el mismo tiempo una ciudad tranquila y loca! Las profesoras son muy preparadas y divertidas, saben como hacernos sentir curiosidad porque siempre hemos hecho actividades practicas para la vida real y para entender el idioma. ¡Esperamos ir otra vez y gracias por todo! (¡Jolin!) OLEG, MARCO, ALESSIO, CHIARA, RICCARDO La escuela nos ha gustado mucho. Es muy interactiva porque todos los días hemos visto muchos monumentos y hemos aprendido nuevas palabras y nuevas formas expresivas. Los profesores son muy simpáticos y divertidos y saben como entretener a las chicas y los chicos. Nos ha gustado mucho hacer muchas conversaciones sobre arguementos actuales y que nos sirven para vivir en España y hablar de manera mejor. SARA, MARIO, MATTEO, RICCARDO, ELEONORA Valencia nos gustó mucho, sobre todo la parte moderna de la ciudad, pero también el casco antiguo nos interesó. Todos los profesores fueron muy disponibles y divertidos. Pienso que voy a echar de menos todo de Valencia. Lo que nos gustó más es el clima; hace mucho calor y hay sol todos los días. Hay también mucha gente por las calles, también por la noche y las tapas son muy buenas. Valencia nos ha encantado, es una ciudad muy bonita, la gente es muy abierta y simpática y el clima es estupendo. ¡No queremos volver a Italia! En esta semana yo he llegado a ser español. He visto el Mestalla y estoy enamorado de Valencia club de futbol (y de Paula, la chica del estadio). Valencia es una ciudad maravvilosa, casi como Lecce, mi ciudad. Un día volveré! Valencia, la ciudad de las naranjas, nos ha encantado como su vida alegre, sus habitantes y su comidas. Una parte de nuestra historia pasa por Valencia y nunca las vamos a olvidar. ANDREA, CAMILLA, FRANCESCA, LEONARDO, PIETRO Escuela: nos ha gustado. Los profesores eran simpáticos y disponibles, las lecciones eran interesantes y generalmente las actividades estavan bien organizadas, a exepción de la visión de la película, en cuanto no hubo una discusión sobre la película al final de la misma, y el film necesitaba los subtítulos para ser comprendido por gente que no es madrelengua. Familia: era simpática, disponible (también para modificar los horarios) y cocinaba siempre mucha y buena comida. Ciudad: no obstante Valencia es muy grande, nos hemos quedado bien. Además, nos han gustado los monumentos y los lugares más famosos. Cosas que nos han gustado más: la tarde en la playa y la Ciudad de las Ciencias. Recomendaríamos este viaje a otros estudiantes de nuestra edad. EMMA, GIULIA, MARTINA, SILVIA, CAROLINA, ILARIA, BEATRICE ¡Hemos pasado una semana maravillosa! Hemos aprendido nuevas palabras, nuevas expresiones y también costumbres y tradiciones ¡Que suerte que hemos llegado en un periodo de fiesta! Las cosas que más nos han gustado han sido las Ciudad de las artes y de las ciencias, la Mascleta, la playa y la paella. Por lo que concierne la escuela nos ha  gustado mucho hacer actividades interactivas por las calles, como por ejemplo pedir informaciones a la gente de la ciudad y la visita al Mercado Central. Lo hemos pasado muy bien de verdad con los profesores y tambièn con las familias. Nos ha encantado que la escuela estuviese en el centro de la ciudad porque hay muchos bares y tiendas que se pueden disfrutar en el tiempo libre: ¡Ha sido todo genial! Es una experiencia que recomandamos a todos los estudiantes.

ALESSIO BERGAMIN, SOUA BROTTO,NICOLA GRAZIOTTO,MARIA PETINI, ITALIA Durante esta semana hemos comido bien y también en las familias. La escuela es buena, los profesores están preparados. Hemos hecho mucha actividades interesantes y hemos tenido lá oportunidad de aprender muchas cosas típicas. Hemos también visto la crida y la primera mascleta d el año que estuve una experiencia muy buena. No hemos tenido problemas y nos ha gustado mucho. Quenámos tornar por que es ciudad bonita. Por la noche hay muchos locales y pub por los chicos. Hemos mejorado nuestro español. En el fin de semana nos podemos divertir y es una ciudad por las Jouens. Somos unas estudiantes italianas de último curso que han estado aquí por una semana para aprender mejor español. Esta semana hemos hecho  muchas actividades,como visitar el Museo fallero, IVAM , bellas artes. Los mejores fueran el oceanográfico donde hemos visto el espectáculo de los defines, allí vimas a unos archivistas de greenpeace que saltaren en el agua para protestar. El domingo fuimos a la playa en bici y fue maravillo so por que cantamos muchísimo. Todas las familias han sido muy amables y hemos comido muy bien. La escuela ha sido muy divertide porque las actividades han sido muy interesantes y nos han permitido aprender mejor el idione. Los profesores han sido muy agradables y simpáticas. ¡La cerveza es barata ! Esperamos volver a España otra vez.   A.MARTINI   GIORGIA,ILARIA,ALICE,CHIARA,LAURA    ITALIA Pasamos una semana maravillosa en Valencia , no queremos volver a nuestra cosa en Italia. Hemos visto muchas cosas de la ciudad como la catedral la ciudad de las artes y de las ciencias, el museo farero y la playa. Las familias que nos ha hospedado fueron muy simpáticas y disponible y hemos comido bien. La escuela Taronja nos ha ayudado a hablar el español mejor. Los profesores Victor,Teresa nos han enseñado con mucha simpática y entretenimiento con diferentes actividades.          

¡Hola! Somos un grupo de chicos muy simpáticos que vienes de Como, una pequeña ciudad de Italia donde hay un lago y muchas zonas verdes. Nosotros tenemos entre 16 y 18 años y nos gusta mucho España porque la gente es muy alegre y social. en nuestra semana de excursión fuimos a clase alternadas con actividades de turismo. Hablamos con personas que nos han explicado como funciona el mundo de trabajo, especialmente sobre empresas y trabajos de justicia, porque estudiamos derecho y economía. Según nosotros el español no es así difícil porque es similar del italiano y como la gente es simpática, nosotros hablamos más y aprendemos. Por la noche salimos y estamos juntos y como no queremos volver a casa esperamos de volver. Os aconsejamos esta experiencia. ¡Hola! Somos un grupo de estudiantes italianos del norte Italia. En esta semana hemos aprendido mucho porque los profesores son fantásticos. La lengua española es llena de cultura y este significado se revela en todos los momentos felices de esta semana: hemos leído, cantado, bailado, reído y aprendido durante las clases, que lo más importante para hablar bien el español es la serenidad y la fuerza de voluntad. Muchas gracias a los profes, Ana y Teresa y a todos los miembros de la Taronja School que nos han permitido esta vacación!  

Hola! Somos un grupo de estudiantes de Holanda. Teníamos clases de español durante una semana y hemos aprendido como podemos hablar y entender el español. Nos gusta que vamos a la ciudad de las artes y las ciencias que está organizado por la escuela. También los profesores están muy motivados para enseñar  el español. Estas 2 semanas cuando estamos aquí las Fallas empiezan. Ver toda la gente disfrutando de los fuegos artificiales está muy guay. El tiempo ha sido muy bien y Valencia tiene mucho historia fascinante. Queremos agradecer los profesores para sus apoyos y sus tiempo. Queremos volver a Valencia, sin perdón! Somos estudiantes de Holanda. Hemos tenido clases durante una semana y hemos aprendido mucho. Nuestro nivel está mucho mejor ahora. Hemos visitado un bar de shisha y vamos a visitar la ciudad de las artes y las ciencias. El tiempo está  mucho mejor aquí. Y  queremos los fuegos artificiales de las Fallas. Estamos viendo hacia adelante a el 19 de marzo porque en ese momento las Fallas empiezan y hay fiestas en todos lados. Valencia es una ciudad muy bonita y la recomendamos. Pablo y Victor son profesores muy buenos y están muy divertidos y tranquilos.

Hola! We are a group of students from The Netherlands. We went to classes for a week and we have learned how to speak and understand Spanish. It’s nice that we go to la Ciudad de las artes y las ciencias that’s organized by the school. Also the teachers are really motivated to learn us español. The two weeks we are here las Fallas begins. It is cool to see all the people enjoying the fireworks! The weather was also very nice and Valencia has a lot of fascinating history. We want to thank the teachers for their support and their time. We definitely want to go back to Valencia! We are estudiantes from Holanda. We had school for a week and we have learned a lot. Our Spanish level is a lot higher now. We visited the shisha bar and we are going to visit la ciudad de las artes y las ciencias. The weather is a lot better in here. And we like the fireworks of Las Fallas. We’re looking forward to the 19th of march. Then is the real Fallas and then there is fiesta everywhere. Valencia is a beautiful city and we recommend it. Pablo and Victor are really good teachers and they’re nice and easy.

We spent two wonderful weeks in Valencia with Taronja Spanish School. As we were part of the cultural and artistic programme, our classes were focused on themes like photography, theatre, design and Valencian art and culture. Our teachers Flor and Pablo were great and always made the classes interesting and dynamic. Later during the days, we enjoyed some of the regular socio-cultural activities that Taronja offers to its students. We practiced our language skills during the language exchange and the Paella night was just great! The second week of our stay gave us many opportunities to be creative and show our talent in several workshops we attended. We liked the best the Grafitti workshop with a local Spanish guy Nacho. We also did a costumes workshop and ceramics workshop that were both fabulous! In addition, we went to the famous exhibition of photography World Press Photo and enjoyed the microtheatre show. During our free time we explored Valencia and its history, culture and fiestas. We had a great time with Taronja and its team! Thank you so much 🙂

Pasamos dos semanas maravillosas en Valencia con Taronja Escuela de Español. Tuvimos un programa cultural y artístico, nuestras clases se centraron en temas como la fotografía, el teatro, el diseño y el arte y la cultura valenciana. Nuestros profesores Flor y Pablo eran geniales y siempre hacen las clases interesante y dinámico. Por las tardes disfrutamos de algunas de las actividades socio-culturales que Taronja ofrece a sus estudiantes cada semana. Practicamos nuestros conocimientos de idiomas durante el intercambio linguístico y la Noche de paella era simplemente genial! La segunda semana de nuestra estancia nos dio muchas oportunidades de ser creativos y mostrar nuestro talento en varios talleres a los que asistimos. Nos gustó más el taller de los grafitti con Nacho – un chico local. También hicimos un taller de trajes y cerámica que eran fabulosos! Además, fuimos a la famosa exposición de fotografía World Press Photo y disfrutamos del espectáculo de micro teatro. Durante nuestro tiempo libre exploramos Valencia y su historia, cultura y fiestas. Tuvimos un buen tiempo con Taronja y su equipo! Muchas Gracias 🙂

My experience with Taronja was a very pleasant surprise. I came to Valencia for one week with my husband to visit the city and be immersed in Spanish to begin our two month travel in Spain. One week was too short of a stay. I learned a lot and went away with helpful materials. The teachers and students were great fun and great companions. I am sad to leave and hope to return for a longer session.
