I am very impressed with the teaching level of my 2 teachers this week, Marta and Manu. Unfortunately I am here just for one week so I did not have the possibility to meet the others. The first day I was scared because I could not understand a lot, neither talking, but I decided to stay in this class as a challenge with myself because I like so much the teachers that are so nice. I understand the grammar and the end of the 5 days course I understand a bit better and I feel more confident. I know that I have to practice talking more with people and I think that if I could study two months, I would speak more fluently. I will recommend this school to everyone! Thank you so much to Marta and Manu.

I loved my time in Taronja. This are my last days here and I don’t want to come back home! The atmosphere in class was so nice; the teachers were motivated, funny… I could practice my oral expressions about a lots of themes. Moreover, the activities organized by the school were so different and funny. Valencia is a perfect city: we can enjoy the beach, the food, visit around and have parties. You have everything!

I really like the school. The teachers and the people in the reception are very funny and helpful. The rooms of the school are very pretty, but they do not have windows and there is no fresh air and for that I do not like it. The activities are very alternate. Intercambio and Paella are my favorite ones. Cooking class is very interesting. The teachers are prepared for the classes and I study a lot. The class is interesting and the grammar papers are useful. The place where the school is located is very good, because it is in the center and all the things (Cathedral, Central Market) are closed. The 7 weeks are unforgettable. Thank you so much.

Thank you for six great weeks. I learned a lot and made many new friends. Taronja is the perfect mix of work and play. I loved my time here. I am going to miss Taronja and all the people there immensely.

Niklas, Alemania In general, I loved so much the classes that I took in the school. The teachers are all very motivated, and there are many different activities each day. The thing that I liked more was the atmosphere that the teachers create. In addition, Valencia is really an incredible city for spending your time (and learning spanish, of course). So it is impossible that someone does not feel good here.

Barbara, Austria Valencia for me:
  • Nights of tapas and sangria
  • The origin of Paella
  • A mix of culture and beaches
  • Party every night
  • Many new friends
  • An unforgettable experience
All that thank to Taronja School! I think that now my spanish is much better than at the beginning of my months in Valencia. I wanna thank everyone of Taronja team to make possible this amazing trip!

Palmers Green High School, Inglaterra

Hello! We are Nicole, Elizabeth and Sophie. We are from England and we are going to Palmers Green High School in Enfield. Valencia is an amazing city and we learned so much. The teachers helped us a lot and they were very funny and nice. During the classes we had so much fun and we did activities like cooking and singing in spanish. We learned many new words and sentences as well. The videos help us a lot with the work. On Thursday we walked around the historic centre  of Valencia and we visited the cathedral and the train station. On Friday we went to the central market and we saw snail still alive. In conclusion, Valencia is interesting, clean and vibrant and we enjoyed it so much.

Hello, we are Tara, Zoe, Gianna and Portia. We are english, we are from Palmers Green High School. Our experience was very interesting. The school was very nice and the teachers helped us a lot. We learned so much. The class was funny. We did many activities, for example we visited monuments and the cooking class with the cooker Nando. He is very good in cooking. We learned how to cook tortillas and churros. The food was delicious. The cathedral is very big and pretty. We learned about the culture. We preferred our classes more than the excursions, because the classes are funnier. To end up, we wish to come back. We loved the experience. We had a great time.

We really like Spain. The school is very interesting and funny. The teachers are young and they communicate easily. We did many activities and they help us to improve our Spanish. We enjoyed the activities in which we had to talk with people and when we learned how to cook spanish foods.

I liked the classes, it has been a little more severe and I have studied a bit more grammar, but I think it was a good change, comparing it to last week, when we talked more and completed less exercises. Perhaps a bit more of the culture and less parties (I know that in Spain the culture = partying but I mean to visit more museums or listen more to typical music of Valencia or do more things yourself, like: instead of watching chef Nando cook, cook yourself). Perhaps a printer in the class of the computers but with a limited amount of sheets.

Sarah, Ireland

Hello! My name is Sarah, I’m from Ireland, I had a wonderful time in Valencia. The school is close to everything. The teachers are very helpful. I also have made many friends. My daughters also have learned a lot, not only the language but also about the culture. I will recommend Taronja to others, who want to have an experience in general. My daughter helped me with this!

Rosie, England

My experience has been very nice in Taronja. The teachers and the school are very good and there are many activities, including tapas and the paella party. Valencia is beautiful and I will return soon. Thank you for this great week!

Akademisches, Austria

Hello! We are students from Austria and we are 15 to 16 years old. For one week we have been in Valencia with activities and classes. It has been very interesting. The teachers have been kind and funny. We have done many interactive exercises. For example we went to the street with exercises in which we needed to talk with and ask questions to other Spaniards. The classes were very interesting, but we knew more than what we have learned here. The week’s activities sometimes have been disappointing, such as ¨the paella party¨. What we liked most was going to the beach and walk around the city. The experiences with the families was different for everyone, but overall it was a positive experience. Overall our trip was unforgettable and we are very happy that we have had the opportunity to visit Valencia. LAURA, LISA, LUCAS, EMILY, MAYA & MATTHI   We are five students from Austria and we have been in Valencia for a week to learn more structures and phrases in Spanish. It was a unique experience because the school is very different from our school in Austria. The teachers are very young and fun. In class there is a very nice atmosphere and the activities in class were variad, for example walking down the street and ask some people about current topics. We also liked the cooking class of chef Nando which was very funny and interesting. During this week we visited many interesting places in the city. So we want to thank everyone, especially our families and the teachers in Spain. However the days we spent at the beach were the best. DOMINIK, SOPHIE, HELENA, JEREMIAH, ISABEL   The week was a special experience, because the classes offered different opportunities to improve our knowledge of this beautiful language. What we liked most were the extraordinary methods with which the teachers gave us a new perspective to learn Spanish. Apart from school, this trip gave us the chance to meet the people of this wonderful country. All in all it was a memorable and fun week and we will miss Valencia. JONATHAN, KITTY, MORIK, NIK We spent a week here in Valencia and we enjoyed it a lot. With Taronja we learned a lot – of language and of the culture. We had many different activities which where all were fun. The families were very friendly and genuine and the teachers were funny and lived great experiences. It was an unforgettable experience that we will miss forever. ALEX, LAURA, DINAH, ANNA, HANNAH

The year 2016 has been a fantastic year! And do you know why? Because this year I have met the Taronja school. A school to learn Spanish and enjoy Valencia with other students who are in the school. This year I have been in the school twice as a student and at the end of the year as an intern. To organize very cool nights and every week different ones. Being a type A intern in Taronja, was like having a job where you can learn a lot. Sometimes a hard job but with the other interns a time to never forget. I stayed for a year and a half and Taronja has given me the opportunity to incredibly improve my Spanish 🙂 And I like that I have the feeling like working with the Taronja family. As the people working there are very different compared to the people in the Netherlands, for me it was fantastic that I could give my experience of work to my colleagues in Taronja and vice versa. A greeting from an intern who would like to return to Valencia 😉 Marco
