Deio and Danielle, Wales

I liked my stay in Valencia and especially the Spanish course in Taronja school. The contact with the school has been excellent since the first time.  I had a good e-mail correspondence with the school and when I had the interview with Jenny I didn’t feel nervous at all. The school is really welcoming and there are many socio-cultural activities, all different from each other. The teachers are able to teach well and with humor, and still keep the focus on the aim of the course. I really appreciate the commentaries evaluating the student. My stay (too short!) in Valencia has been a positive experience. First of all I discovered a wonderful city, with many interesting places (and it was also festivity). The school course has been really interesting. I liked that the teachers switch every week. It is a good idea to get used to different ways of teaching and talking. They all talk very clearly. The activities that I like the most: – debates (for example about the job conditions) – explain words (new or not) using other known words. – create dialogue with other school mates using new structures or vocabulary. – listen to radio program and give answers – watch videos and talk about them with school mates or to the whole group. Some other activities that last a little longer without (according to me) reaching the aim were: – search for  information on the internet in order to make a presentation for the group ( it could have been a homework activity) – some grammar exercises (written) that could have been done as homework as well. To sum up, I have to say that the school organizes everything very well: the info before arriving, the courses and the activities, that were many and all different from each other.Captura de pantalla 2015-03-24 a las 11.43.12
