RAPHAELE, GABRIELLA, YOANN, CÉCILE: At first we were a little bit impatient and stressed. When we arrived, our host families came and led us home. We spent a great weekend. During the week we visited the ancient buildings in Valencia, we played football and we rode the bike.
We also went to the Gulliver park, we went on the slide and other rides! We visited the Fallas museum as well (who cool!). We ate churros with chocolate! Valencia is a stunning city with really nice teachers.
Thanks for everything, we had a blast.
FROV, ANTOINE, ADAM, RODRIGO, ACHOUN, INÉS, GOMDNAS, EMMA: We were all waiting for this trip to Valencia. We were impatient to come, we ended this trip knowing a beautiful, modern and welcoming city in which all of us made new friends. We won’t easily forget this trip, we shared beautiful moments visiting Valencia, with friends who will be remembered for a long time. It was a great chance to get to know Valencia: the sun, the beach, the city and the people. Even if during our stay it was a little bit cold, we needed some sun and warm weather because at home, in Paris, is almost always cold. To finish these lines, we would like to thank all the people that joined this wonderful trip and above all, Taronja Spanish school.
FLUGUES, FLORE, ZOÉ, QUENDIN: We’re student of Notre Dame de France high school. We stayed in Valencia one week, on an exchange program. This week has been full of emotions, laughs and churros with chocolate. We had classes in the morning and in the afternoon we visited the city. What we liked the most has been visiting many places. For example, we went to the Oceanographic, where we watched a dolphin show. At the fallas museum, we could see the criticism towards politics and selfies, very funny. The best has been Gulliver park. We played so much that eventually we were all dirty and with bruises, but we had fun. Then we had a shower. The atmosphere in Valencia was very nice, with good weather, the colors of the city, the nice teachers, great and unstressed people, many couples and and the excellent food!
LOIC, AURILIEN, LORIS, MARIE, RENÉ, CLAIRE: Once our spanish schoolmates left Paris, we met them again in Valencia and it was great because Spanish people are happy and nice. The exchange between French and Spanish has been incredible, during all the trip. We thought that the city would be smaller than it really is. It is a green city, with palm and orange trees that add a touch of colors and transmit feelings of serenity.
There are big routes that are called «avingudas», whereas the little ones are called «calles». Our families were nice and welcoming. Our host mothers were very thoughtful. Moreover, our host families always prepares us excellent meals. We love Spanish cuisine. For example, we ate paella, potatoes tortilla, tapas and ham sandwiches, and we also drank San Miguel beer. We tasted chocolate with churros. In the afternoons we visited places. We went to the Oceanographic wand we watched a dolphin show. There were many birds, like pink and red flamingos, then we visited the city with Paloma, one of the teacher’s friends. We saw «El Palacio del Marqués de dos Aguas», the cathedral and Quart towers. On sunday we played paintball. Our teachers were brave, nice and encouraging. This journey has been amazing! Mariajo and Víctor are two unforgettable teachers.
