We really enjoyed our stay in Valencia!

Group Tonbridge

Plaza de la Reina We are students from the Tonbridge School, England. During our stay we studied spanish and the culture of the region. We went to a football game which was an experience we´ll never forget because of the ambience. The most unforgettable moments were the visits of the mercado central, the beach and the catedral (above all the view from the tower). As well we won´t forget the interesting classes and the teachers. Also we went to the Oceanografico to see the pretty penguins and dolphins. We don´t want to go tomorrow! Thanks to all for a incredible week in which we learned a lot!   Names: Nick, Alberto, Liam, Paddy, Ross, Thomas, Roberto, Jánnessciudad-ciencias-artes-valencia-6 Country: England

The lessons at Taronja are very interactive and funny!

Group Dulwich

Dulwich The education in this school is very calm and easy to understand. We like that we can go

outside and talk to the people in the streets, so we can practice our spanish in an interactive way. The school is a little bit hidden but altogether very good. The teachers Victor and Guillermo are marvellous and they like our jokes and they are very nice, likeable and they jave the skill to teach admirable.   Names: Joseph, Kingsley Country: England     The lessons are very interactive and the teachers make the lessons very emotional and useful. In some ways the lessons are better than in England, because we talk a lot and I think that talking is the most important thing to improve my spanish. As well the interactivity with people from the street is very useful, because we learn something about the culture of Valencia and we have the opportunity to talk to different people.   Names: Bertie, Rupert Country: England   This week we saw many interesting places. The best of our trip was the journey to the playa beach with bikes. It´s called «Saler» because there are many wind and sun and the journey was really relaxed even though it wasn´t for much time. I was shocked that there are so many beggars. Nevertheless I don´t think that the number of beggars belittle the pelota-de-fútbol beauty of the city. As well I was shocked because the cinema was so full of people even though it was saturday. If you were in London normally it would be empty. Also the size of the Mestalla stadium was very impressive. I would like to play football in this stadium, but just if I had enough skill for football!   Names: Leo y Samuel Country: England     When we came to Valencia we got t know our families and after that we went out. We ate with the families for the first time. Later we had lessons at Taronja. The weather was really good during our holidays. It was very hot, even though the problem was that the heat produced a terrible stench. We want to say thank you to our teachers because they have been nice and likeable. If we can come back next year, we´ll do it.   Names: Lukas, Fergus, Joyce Country: England       George and I arrived at Valencia for the first time and we expected a lot. Nice weather, delicious paella and pretty girls. We were not disappointed. Taronja is a school en el city centre with many bars and the teachers are very likeable. The lessons always have been full of jokes. Valencia is a beautyful city. From the old architecture of the townhall to the Ciudad de las Artes y de las Ciencias, which is really modern and futuristic, the city offers a lot to the people and you can always do something.   Names: George, Pierre-Louis Country: England   Here you can see a little video of one of our trips!

Taronja school is a good place to learn spanish. In the school you meet a lot of people from different countries, in general European. The people who work for the school make everyone feel very welcome and comfortable. If you have any problem they help you. Valencia is a beautiful and comfortable city, I will return someday to this city 🙂 Irena Germany 1966940_10153930146930648_1501605002_n

It was an incredible time !!

In may i decided to go to Valencia for the vacactions to learn spanish. I searched through internet and found the Taronjaschool. Today is my last day and tomorrow i’m leaving to go home again. I’ve been here for 2 weeks and i think that i improved my spanish, but i’m still not satisfited with my level, thats why i want to keep on learning and practicing the lenguage. This week i bought two books which are written from spanish writers to read them at house. In general the city is beautifu and i really like the architecture and the ambience. At one hand the city has a historic part and on the other hand it’s very modern. I think both are stunning. Another good thing is that the beach is not that far away; you just have to take the bus and you’re there. I also think that the spanish people are very symphatic and open, but i could never live here. At the end i want to say something about the school. I liked the school and  the best thing at school was that you have the chance to get to know so many people and about the spanish libe through all the drifferent activities. It defenitely was an inredible time !!   valencia

It’s so great to be here!!

We also made many tours for example visiting the beach, the city of science and art and the hisoric city center. It was so cool! We’ve been to the stadium of Mestalla. It was fantastic! We often ate and drank something at the Bodega Fila wth many students and teachers from the school. Today we will go to the Chupiteria ( Shotbar). It’s so great to be here!! It was AWESOME!! Sascha Koppe, Nadja Gaensewig, Liesbeth Vogt, Alexandra Martin MF3-A006 We are a group of 10 german students. We stayed for one week in Valencia. The first time we saw the school we were really surprised because the way they teach the language was so new and different for us. We saw the momuments like the cathedral and visited the city of science and art in our free time. At night we always enjoyed going to bars ad you could party in every corner in Valencia. We watched a Foodball game from the Uefa Cup, where Valecia took part, too. At the end we can say that Valencia is a city, where you can have a really good time and we definitely recommend to do a trip to this wonderful city! J. I liked the time I spent in Valencia, the school is very good. The activities such as Friday parties or  excursions in the weekend have been unforgettable. The activities have been good to meet other students. Even the teachers have been very kind. Mainly I had fun during my time in the school.

Johannes

I am Johannes. I’m 20 and I live in Germany very close to Frankfurt. I spent five funny weeks here in Valencia. After having Spanish classes for two years in college I decided to study Spanish in Frankfurt University. A friend of mine recommended me Valencia and she told me it was a wonderful city. So I decided to look for a Spanish school in Valencia. And I found Taronja school. I like Valencia so much! The nights at the Oktoberfest with the beers from Germany were phenomenal. The time here has passed very fast and in two days I have to come back to Germany, where it’s very cold 🙁

Marina

I like Taronja school very much, because the teachers are very nice. There are lots of funny activities and the classes are not boring. Now I have friends met thanks the school, so I’m happy of this experience!

Thanks for everything!

Lien

Hi, I’m Lien. I’m 20 and I’m from Belgium. I’m in Valencia to practice my Spanish and to enjoy a totally different culture. Tomorrow I’m coming home and I can say that I’m very sad. People here are very nice, funny and lovable; it won’t be an easy farewell. The school does seem like a big family . In the classes you can ask to talk about the topics that interest you and the teachers do everything to help you. Also there are lots of activities that the school organizes, so you can meet all the students and the teachers. I liked a lot my stay here, so much that I’m still thinking I want to come back in August!
