We really like staying in Valencia and taking part to the class in Taronja school. The teachers (Pablo and Manuel) had taught us a lot and we have learned many things. Moreover, we really like the different excursions as for example Albufera and the Oceanographic. Another thing that we liked so much was the spanish cooking class with Nando. The different dishes were delicious and when we will be back home in Austria we will cook them for our parents. In addition, we enjoyed so much the museum of «Fallas» and we want to travel again to Valencia when there will be the party of «Fallas». We would really like being part of this celebration and seeing the different figures, the fireworks. Especially we like so much all the city, in particular the old part. We want to thank so much the school Taronja school , the teachers and our spanish families. It is sure that we will visit Valencia another time.

Our week in Valencia. The week in Valencia was very nice and we visited many things. The first excursion was in the Albufera’s park. Not only we went with the boat, but we also saw the fields of rice. On Sunday we went to the city of the Arts and Sciences and then we went to the Oceanographic, where there was a show with dolphins. Probably this is the most interesting attraction. The next day we went to the ancient part of the city in Valencia. This week we also saw the beach. One day we did an excursion to the central market. It was an interesting experience but we will not visit it again because the smell was very bad. On Thursday we visited the museum of «Faller». We think that the «Fallas» are very spectacular. In conclusion it was a very nice trip that passed so fast. We will come back to Valencia one day.

Our week in Valencia. This week we have learned a lot with the teachers Pablo and Manu. Not only we have improved our grammar, but also our knowledge of Spain. Now we know much more things about the culture and the people in Valencia. In the classes of Pablo and Manu there are more important things than having good marks, like for example communicate in spanish. Our experiences with the families were just good- good food, nice bedrooms, interesting conversation. The first day was about going to the city of the Arts and Sciences, where we get a lots of informations about dinosaurs and we could make many experiments. Then we went to the 3D cinema and the Oceanographic were there was a dolphins’s show. Another day of this week we went to the beach to play football, swimming and sunbathing. The most funny moment of our time here was the day in which we cooked specialities of Spain with the cooker Fernando. At night we ate «arroz al horno» with the people of Taronja school. We are hoping to come back one day of our life. Thank you for everything.

Lea and Nadine

We liked taking part to the excursions, that they were always well organized. We enjoyed so much the city of Arts and Sciences and the route in the old part of the city. Beside that, we enjoyed the day we have visited the beach, but sometimes the excursions were a bit exhausting for the hot. The teachers of Taronja school are very funny and they are very motivated in teaching their language to students. We think we have learned something new. In general, the week in Valencia has been an amazing experience.

Pia and Eva

Hello!  We are students of the Tulln high school in Austria. We are studying spanish since 4 years and we want to improve our linguistic abilities in Valencia. We liked that the teachers were nice and they taught us a bit more of spanish than in the school. We think that the classes are too long, because at the end of the class everyone was tired. When we were not in the school we visited different places like Albufera, the city of the Arts and Sciences, the Oceanographic, the route around the old area in town, the central market.

Hello to all the world! We are students from Austria and we stayed in Valencia for one week. We are studying spanish since 3 years and for that we went to Taronja school. Here we like more the relation with the teachers, because is very different from the classes in Austria. A thing that we did not like were the classes in the afternoon because we prefer spending time in the open air when it is hot. We visited the city of Arts and Sciences, all the modern and ancient parts of the city, the Albufera y much more. But the nicest thing was the beach because we do not have see in Austria.

Maxi, Manu, Verena, Lorena, Hannah

We are students from Austria and we have 17-19 years. We did a trip to Valencia with our school. We like Valencia because there were very funny and friendly people. Beside that, our impression of  Valencia is the you live very well. We think that the spanish language sounds very nice. Moreover, it was sunny and good weather. In Austria now it’s just five degree. The city of Valencia is very sumptuous and multi-coloured. At the end, the best: the beach and the see are amazing. We like it so much!

ANÓNIMO

!Mucha gracias por todo! Me ha encantado esta semana. My teachers ( Flor, Sonia y Teresa) were very good. especially the private clases were well-organized-and-structured this week, which was nice as i am here onley one week. I really like the flexibility of the school, they are very quick in noticing one’s correct Spanish level, which results in an optimal learning curve! thanks!

LINDA, ALEMANIA

Thank you for the two weeks of new experiences, education, culture and friendly atmosphere with a helpful Taronja team. And of course great teachers! the lessons were well structured and i learned lots of culture and lifestyle of Spain, specially of Valencia. Useful tips, i’ll never forget… maybe there will be a chance to establish a tutorial for students like me, who need more repetitions and explanation for better understanding. Finally, i’d like to say thank you for looking for such a lovely and kind host family. Lots of small talks, clean rooms and delicious meals.

CAMILLA, ITALIA

Hi, my name is Camilla and I´m Italian. I liked so much the classes. It is a good way to learn another language during the holiday. Teachers explained grammar to us through game, paper, drawing and visual materials such as movie, video and song. We tried to debate and to simulate some general situations in order to practice our speaking. The school activities are really enjoyable of everything. I liked to know foreign people and to visit the city.

ELISE, FRANCIA

My three weeks in Taronja school were wonderful.
  • Teachers are really nice and fun. I learned a lot with them.
  • The school activity are diverse and interesting.
If I have the opportunity to study again in this school, I will have this experience again.

THERESA, ALEMANIA

Please translate in en_us: THERESA SIEGMUND, ALEMANIA People, students, teachers and receptionists are the best! There is many people in school but they remembered my name fast. The school organize school activities every day like trips and dinners. You can easily have new friends. The teachers are really fun and motivated. The class is small, so I could speak without shyness although  I made mistakes. I will keep doing it. I will come back! Thank you so much.

Amy, Inglaterra

While I was in Taronja school it was great. All the teachers and the student manager, Jenny, are really funny and kind. They always adjust classes for students. It is really essential if you want to improve your Spanish. School activities are good, especially ´las tapas.´ Teachers drink with students. Generally, there is a good atmosphere in the school, which is that they make more activities without alcohol with our suggestion, even though I like to drink! I think my Spanish is improved, especially in speaking and listening. I have a motivation to keep practicing Spanish in the future. In addition, Jenny, the student manager, helped me with my writing. She is so kind because she spent time for me. The city is great! I recommend to visit Taronja.

Irit, Bélgica

It was wonderful! I will be back! So much thank you for Taronja and all the teachers. They are dynamic and kind, so I could not sleep at all during the class 🙂

JITKA , CZECH REPUBLIC

I’m really happy i made the decision to come and study at Taronja school in  Valencia. What had seemed to be  a crazy  and an impulsive solution of my holidays at the beginning turned into a fantastic experience that exceeded my expectations. Not only i had the perfect holidays, but i also learned the basics of Spanish and this all happened in just two weeks. i got an amazing introduction into the Spanish language, culture and hospitality. I could not speak Spanish at all when i arrived.  All the lessons were always perfectly prepared  and very well organized. all the teachers are experienced and respectful of the individual students’  needs.  I sincerely thank Carmina, Pablo, Josevi, Teresa and Leo!  They all are vibrant personalities, great motivators and qualified professional! the groups are of a perfect size so that every student gets a chance to speak, to ask questions. Lessons were always very lively, with the right rhythm that enabled me not only to follow, but also to participate a lot. all the activities like speaking, reading listening and writing are well practiced through e.g. dialogues, games , videos, songs lyrics, role playing and real-life experience   such a students’ guided tour around the city with Leo. i also find the extra studying materials on Schoology very useful. i appreciated using  the ICT methods and way of studying a lot. They make learning much faster and the lessons more interactive. it is a great way to continue with self studying. Also all the extra-curricular activities i took art in were entertaining and provided a deeper view into the Spanish language and culture, e.g. Paella night or the unique Graffiti tour de Valencia or the outstanding Cooking show on Wednesday. My heartfelt thanks also belong to all the admin staff, the hard-working and always smiling ladies at the reception. they turned my last-minute-adventure in Spain into perfectly organized trip. they helped me a lot with organizing my accommodation even after when i extended my stay for one week. they are extremely competent and simply extraordinary and wish you all the best at your work!
