Hello! We are Italian students from the school Cavallotti and we liked visiting Valencia and studying in Taronja school a lot. What we liked most were the activities organized by the school outside the classes, such as going to the market to buy and eat food like prawns, ham and more, going to the beach for sunbathing, and go cycling. The «Ciudad de las Artes y Ciencias» was very beautiful and interesting, just like the shops full of nice clothes. The cuisine in general we liked a lot, like paella, made by chef Nando, and sangria. ¡Hola! Nosotros somos estudiantes italianos de la escuela Cavallotti y nos ha gustado mucho visitar Valencia y estudiar en Taronja school. Lo que mas nos ha gustado son las actividades que la escuela organizó fuera de clase: ir al mercado para comprar y comer comida como gambas, jamón ibérico y otro mas; ir a la playa para tomar el sol; y ir en bicicleta. La ciudad de las Artes y Ciencias fue muy bonita y interesante como las tiendas, llenas de ropas bonita. La gastronomía en general nos ha gustado mucho como paella, hecha por el chef Nando, como la sangría. Los precios son muy buenos. ¡Gracias a todos y a las profesores! The activities were very interesting. All the families took care of us very well. The city was very interesting and beautiful. For example, the Oceanográfic has many species of fish. FABIAN, GABRIEL, JAKOB & JENS   This week we got to know the Spanish culture. We loved almost everything. The food is one of the things most beautiful, just like the architecture. In the school we studied a lot of Spanish. All days we had class in the afternoon. The class has been very amusing. We have been debating, which was very interesting, because we had to talk a lot. The activities were very enjoyable. For example, we had a salsa-class and we visited a concert. The excursions were very informative. FABIAN MARKLO & ERNST MADER   The specialities from Spain are diverse and interesting. We liked it a lot. We cooked omelette and prepared sangria and both went very well. The cooking class was very entertaining and the cook was crazy and funny. Valencian beers are very light. The monuments of Valencia are very impressive, particularly the ´Ciudad de Artes y Ciencias´. PASCAL & KYLE   Valencia is very big and beautiful. The city is very typical for Spain, because there are a lot of nice bars. But, the best are the paellas and the tapas, which are in all the bars. In Valencia the is a clean and beautiful beach too. Our school is very painted. Especially the teachers have been very friendly and funny. For this reason, we learned a lot about the culture, the people and Valencia. RAFFAEL S. & LENA P.   We love the food and the tapas. Our families were amusing and friendly. The excursions were informative. The teachers were very cool. The «Cuidad de las Artes y Ciencias» was very impressive, because the architecture is exceptional. In class we learned a lot. One day we danced  Salsa in a bar, which was very amusing. Another day we went to the bar «Black Chili», were we listened to a concert and, after that, we tried some Valencian beers. Las actividades fueren muy interesantes. Todas las familias nos cuidaron muy bien. La ciudad fue muy interesante y bonita. Por ejemplo, el Oceanográfic tiene muchos especies de peces. FABIAN, GABRIEL, JAKOB & JENS   En este semana hemos conocido la cultura española. A nosotros nos hemos gustado casi todo. La comida es una de los coses mas bonitas, como la arquitectura. En la escuela hemos estudiado mucho el español. Todos los días hemos tenido clase por la tarde. La clase ha estado muy divertido. Hemos hecho debates, que estaba muy interesante, porque hemos puesto hablar mucho. Las actividades estaba muy divertido. Por ejemplo hemos hecho una clase de salsa y hemos visitado un concierto. Las excursiones estaban muy informativos. FABIAN MARKLO & ERNST MADER   Las especialidades de España son diversas y interesante. Nos gustan mucho. Cocinamos tortilla de patatas y preparamos sangría y ambos fue muy bien. La clase de cocina fue muy entretenida y el cocinero fue loco y divertido. Las cervezas valencianas son muy ligeras. Los monumentos de Valencia son muy impresionante, en particular la Ciudad de Artes y Ciencias. PASCAL & KYLE   La ciudad Valencia es muy grande y bonita. La ciudad es muy típica por España, porque hay muchos bares agradables. Pero lo mejor son las paellas y las tapas que hay en todos bares. En Valencia también hay una playa limpia y preciosa. Nuestra escuela es muy pintada. En especial los profesores han sido simpáticos y muy divertidos. Por esta razón, aprendemos mucho por la cultura, sobre la gente y Valencia. En resumen, esta semana pasada fue informativa y única. RAFFAEL S. & LENA P.   Nos encantan la comida y las tapas. También nuestras familias fueron divertidas y simpáticas. Las excursiones fueron informativas. Los profesores fueron muy chulos. La ciudad de ciencias fue impresionante, porque la arquitectura es excepcional. En las clases aprendimos mucho. En un día bailamos Salse en un bar que fue muy divertida. En otro día fuimos al bar «Black Chili» donde escuchamos un concierto y después probamos cervezas valencianas. We like Valencia a lot, because the people are very sympathic and open. The city has a lot of wonderful places and interesting monuments. Furthermore, the history of Valencia is very fascinating and impressive. We like the beach a lot, because we don´t have one in Austria. All the food, from tapas to paella, is very very very… delicious! Finally, we love the great atmosphere in Valencia. Nos gusta mucho Valencia porque la gente está muy simpática y abierta. También la ciudad tiene muchas sitios maravillosos y monumentos muy interesantes. Además la historia de Valencia es muy fascinante y impresionante. Nos mola mucha la playa porque no la tenemos en Austria. ¡Toda la comida desde tapas hasta paella es muy muy muy… rica! Las peliculas cortos han sido interesante. En general la escuela Taronja es muy bonita y diferente de las escuelas en Austria. MARTINA, TERESA, DANIELA, ANNA Somos estudiantes italiano de la escuela Gadda Rosselli. La escuela Taronja nos ha gustado porque está ubicada en el centro de Valencia. Las clases son muy interesantes y divertidas porque los profesores son muy simpaticos y abiertos. Nosotros aprendimos mucho vocabulario. La escuela organizó bien muchas actividades por ejemplo salir por la calle y hablar con la gente, cocinar con el chef Nando, hacer graffiti con Nacho, hacer un tour de tapas, bailar la salsa, ir a la Ciudad de las ciencias y también visitar el Mercado Central y el Casco antiguo. Aconsejamos esta escuela a todos lo que quieren aprender español. GAIA, ALESSIA, CAROLINA, VERONICA, ELISA ¡Hola! Esta semana hemos visitado muchos lugares que nos han gustado mucho, como por ejemplo la playa, el ayuntamiento, la estación de nord, las iglesias.. El ayuntamiento nos ha gustado mucho, sobretodo la terraza también la vista panoramica estaba muy bonita desde la torre del Miguelete. La Ciudad nos ha gustado mucho porque hay muchas tiendas de ropa muy bonitas, es muy grande y graciosa, la Plaza de toros parece Roma. Hay muchos parques muy bonitos y grandes, por ejemplo el parque Gulliver. Hasta luego. Abrazos y besitos. CHIARA, COSTANCE, MARTINA, GIACOMO, SARA ¡Hola! Somos estudiantes italianos y hemos pasado una semana maravillosa en la ciudad de Valencia. Las cosas que nos han gustado más fueron las calles que estaban llenas de gente y con muchas tiendas. De hecho todos hemos ido de compras muchas veces. También fuimos a la playa y nos divertimos mucho porque había sol y así pudimos jugar juntos, relajarnos y tomar el sol. Nos hemos dado cuenta que el trafico no había mucho  y el paseo estaba libre. Entre las muchas actividades que hicimos, aprendimos a cocinar paella y a preparar sangría. Un día también hicimos un curso de grafiti. Una tarde bailamos salsa. Todo esto fue muy divertido. La comida en general estaba muy buena y las familias fueron muy acogedoras. CHRISTIAN, GRAZIA, STEFANO, MALCOM, ARIANNA El primer día hablamos de nosotros y de que pensamos de los españoles. Fuimos también a la calle para hacer unas entrevista muy divertidas. Hicimos muchas actividades divertidas, por ejemplo creamos un país inventado. Visitamos Valencia: es una ciudad muy grande, llena de tiendas, bares y restaurantes y queremos volver a Valencia en el futuro. Vimos los transportes públicos que están en Valencia. Vimos muchos contrometrajes, como ‘El french roast’, el de Alma y de José Mota y los comentamos. Hicimos un debate: Barcelona contra Madrid, pero la profesora no eligió nadie como vencedor. Hablamos de los jovenes en España y de que hacen en el tiempo libre y los paragonamos a los italianos. Fuimos también a la calle para preguntar a los jovenes que hicieron el fin de semana pasado. Aprendimos muchísimas expresiones coloquiales. Hablamos de que tipo de bares y restaurantes estan en España y de los menús y platos típicos españoles. Hicimos muchos diálogos para aprender la lengua y las expresiones que se utilizan en los restaurantes. Taronja es una escuela muy útil, porque se situa en el centro y las clases son muy divertidas. GIADA, CARLOTTA, DILETTA, LETIZIA ¡Hola! Somos estudiantes de bacillerato de lenguas en Gallarate, una ciudad cerca de Milano. Nos ha gustado mucho este viaje a Valencia gracias a la belleza de la ciudad y la organización de la escuela. Las actividades propuestas han sido divertidas y interesantes. En la escuela Taronja hemos aprendido muchas nuevas cosas pero de manera ligera y excitante, con clases también por la calle. Todo eso ha sido posible sobretodo gracias a nuestros profesores Ángel y Ándres, que nunca nos han aburrido. ¡Después de esta experiencia podemos decir que vale la pena venir aquí y pasarselo bomba en Valencia! MARTINA, VIOLA, BEATRICE, FRANCESCA, ILARIA ¡Hola! Somos estudiantes de bachillerato de lenguas en Gallarate. Nuestra experiencia ha sido maravillosa porque hemos aprendido mucho en la escuela, y las actividades organizadas han sido muy interesantes y divertidas. Los profesores son muy simpáticos y gracias a ellos las clases no han sido pesadas. Nos ha gustado mucho ir por las calles y hablar con la gente que es bastante calorosa. Valencia es una ciudad muy importante arquitectónicamente, a menudo hace sol, el clima es muy caloroso. Es también muy bonita y chulísima. Ir a la playa y bailar salsa son las actividades que nos han gustado más, pero también las otras han sido muy divertidas, como ir al Mercado Central. ¡España es un país increíble y lleno de emociones, y nos lo hemos pasado bomba!

My time in Valencia
I love living in Valencia. Its a beautiful city, its young, its alive. Theres always 
something to do, never a boring day. The climate is brilliant, the old city gorgeous and 
historical and its always good to have a beach around the corner. The people are wonderful 
and easy going. Im not planning on leaving just yet.

My time in the school
I had an amazing time `working´ in Taronja school. For me it was a great opportunity to 
improve my Spanish without being in class all he time and to meet some wonderful people 
along the way. Ive gotten to know Taronja as a big and warm family, exactly like the 
classrooms are the people. Fun, bright and all with a different personality. I loved to 
help out with the activities and to be in contact with other students, but my favorite 
thing of all was plasticizing things  Thanks for everything, im sure we will see each other
at the paella party´s or other activities! If you ever need any help with un activity or 
anything, you have my phone number :D

  Gaia, Luana, Greta, Giorgia: Hello! We are Italians from «Gadda Rosselli». We went to Valencia for a week and we liked it a lot. First of all because of the funny clases and second because of the activities out of the school. We have visited the old part of the city, the central market, we have cooked a very nice paella and we have made graffiti and also we have danced salsa. The weather wasn’t the best because it rained but we have passed good with the families and our friends. Kabir: The teachers are nice and the clases are funny and interesting. Andreas: We have learned new words and how to improve the language. Paolo: We have learned a lot during the clases in a funny way, laughing a lot. The activities were funny. We have liked it a lot. Alessia: My experience in Taronja School is been very funny. ¡I have liked it a lot! The teachers are really nice and the activities are very interesting. Andrea: I have liked Taronja School a lot because the teachers are nice and the activities were very funny but my favorite activities are the activities where we went ons the street to ask thing at young, Spanish people to improve our learning of the language. Hello! We are Giorgia, Grazana, Marina y Paola and we are Italian students and today we like to tell about our week in Valencia. Our experience was very positive and useful to improve our Spanish. We did a lot of activities and as well we participated with the clases where they kept asking questions so we were always speaking in Spanish. Our families are lovely and friendly. During dinner they asked about our lives in Italy, the habits and what we want to do when we get older. the food was very tasty and delicious. With the school we made typical dishes like: tapas, paella, Fideua an gazpacho. One night we had salsa clases and that was the perfect ending for this beautiful experience. Sara: I have liked Valencia because it’s an active city although the weather didn’t help. Alexia: Valencia is a pleasing and interesting city split in two parts: the old part which is very tradicional and where you can eat something typical and the new part which is very modern and where we can go for shopping. Matteo: I have liked the salsa lesson and the tapas. Laura: Valencia is a city that i’ve loved a lot and it’s a city where you can party. I’ve seen San Vicente and I’ve liked it a lot and it went really well. Véronica: I’ve liked Valencia very much  because it’s and interesting city and also lovely. I’ve liked the monuments and the old part of the city. Hello! We are an Italian group with students of the school «Gadda Rosselló» and we can say that our experience in Taronja School and in Valencia was wonderful and full of interesting and fantastic activities. The teachers from the school were young and friendly and they showed us the beauty of the city of Valencia. The families were available and welcoming and made us thankful for the Spanish food. Sure we will come back to Valencia! Hello! This week has been wonderful. We visited a lot of interesting places like: the North station which was very original, the church of San Nicolas which was awesome, the central market which was very different in comparison with other markets, the fish market which was very big and in general the city of Valencia what us left with our mouth open. Also a thank you to the friendly people. We did very funny activities like how to make graffiti, asking to people about the city and its traditions, making up a country, dancing salsa, having a cooking class, doing group games and a lot more also a thank you to the teachers. In conclusion we can say that this week has  been unforgettable. This week has been wonderful, funny and it made us improve our Spanish. The teachers have been very friendly and the clases interesting because the temes we discussed about have been attractive, the school is original and colorful which we have liked a lot.  The activity we liked the most has been the one with the graffiti because it’s something for youth. During some projects we had to speak with people from the street: most of the people, in particular young people have been very friendly and able to help us while some older people have been angry and nervous. With the weather we haven’t had luck: it rained the first few days so that’s why we couldn’t enjoy the city at its fullest. In conclusion the trip to Valencia has been special and we would like to do it another time: we recommend it to who wants to have fun and learn the language.

Yo fui becario de Taronja durante 11 semanas. Era un tiempo muy especial y muy guay que disfrutaba mucho. Ser becario en la escuela no solo significa que trabajas y aprendes español pero también que conoces a mucha gente nueva de países y culturas muy diferentes. Todos los profesores y todos los que trabajan para Toronja son muy amables, divertidos y te ayudan con cualquier cosa. No puedes comparar la clase y los profesores con los de tu instituto. Además me encanta la ciudad, la gente en Valencia y la atmósfera. ¡Estoy seguro que voy volver a Toronja y disfrutar otro viaje!
