Two weeks ago I came to Valencia to learn Spanish and to prepare the DELE B1 exam. Before coming to Valencia I made a level test and I spoke with Marta about my level. She corrected my test and she told me that B1 was more suitable to me, but she told me I couldn’t have these level classes. So I had two options. The first one was to get private classes for 2.5 hours a day. On the contrary, I could have had classes with the students with B2 level. I chose this last option and I had class with Carlos and his students. The first day I wasn’t very happy. It looked like that every student had a higher level compared to me and I didn’t understand any auditory exercise. But after some days I noticed that I improved in a few time. Since last Monday I love classes. I learnt a lot and I met lots of kind people, like Gabriella, who encouraged me to go to «Paella Party», or Libby, an English girl, and Clemente, Suwan and others. Taronja is a very accessible school and the teachers are very professional. Thanks to Carlos, I learnt the language very fast and Carlos created a safe and funny atmosphere for his students. He even has a lot of patience! After two weeks in Valencia I know that «taronja» means «orange» in Valencian dialect, I even know that «estar orgulloso» has a different meaning compared to «ser orgulloso» and I can’t say «parada» when I see a ride, and many things more. Now I’ll study for another week, but I won’t have any class. Next Friday I have to do the exam. Carlos assured me that when I stay calm everything goes better! I hope to succeed with the exam! Thanks to everyone for these funny weeks.
In these two weeks in Taronja I learned Spanish very well thanks to the teachers, with their interesting and funny lessons. Now I can speak and understand the language enough well. I liked the activities very much, because they’re always different. I would suggest this school to my friends, because it has been a very good experience.
I liked the time I passed in Valencia. The school is very good. The activities like the parties at the beach on friday or the excursions at the weekend were unforgettable. The activities were good for getting to know other students. The teachers were also very likeable.
In total, I enjoyed my time at the school.
Hi!
My name is Silvana and I´m from Switzerland. With my age of 17 I´m one of the youngest here but that doesn´t matter because the people in general are pretty young. I love the activities of the school like the Paella party, the soccer games or the parties at the beach. During your stay here you have to enjoy the beautiful beaches!
I always ate frozen yoghurt which is something I will really miss in Switzerland. It is very impressive to pass the time with people from all around the world and you have the opportunity to make friends from various nationalities. In addition, the siesta is something vital because you don´t have much time to relax with all the parties. You simply have to love Valencia and Taronja!
cially the teachers and the activities!
We had a great time that we will never forget and that let us mature!
The activities, for example the “Tapas Tour”, were a blast. Taronja School is a very good establishment and the teachers are very likeable. Thank you for everything and we will miss you!
Taronja is the best school in Valencia! The teachers are very likeable and funny and the school organizes many activities for the students.
I love the parties at the beach and the Paella Party! Chef Nando does a very tasty Paella!
Valencia is a very beautiful and interesting city. When I studied in Valencia, I went to the beach every week and explored the city a lot. My favourite things to do in Valencia are the museum «faller», the «parque de Turia» and the food, of course!
Thank you for everything and best regards!
Christina

¡Hola!
My name is Christina and I’m fom Germany. I’m learning Spanish for my university entrance diploma, in one year I have an oral exam.
I love… Valencia. Why?
Because of…
… the architecture
… the palms (there aren’t any in Germany)
… the beach (with the waves and the sand)
and the parties. 🙂
Why Taronja School? I don’t know 😛 But I know that it was a good decision…
… The activities and the living together were fantastic!
PS: Don’t forget the Paella of Chef Nando!
