I’d like to thank Taronja school and all its members! I came here just knowing a few words in spanish, and now, after 3 weeks of intensive course, I can explain myself in spanish. I also improved my grammar and vocabulary skills. The way of studying is very friendly and the atmosphere is awesome. All of the teachers are perfect. Each one has his own way of teaching. It’s cool. I hope next year I’ll visit Valencia again and I’ll have one more intensive course in Taronja. Unfortunately I couldn’t attend the activities but all of the students said that the activities were cool. I wish good luck to Taronja and looking forward to see you all next year!

Muchas gracias a Taronja por dos semanas inolvidables. Me lo pasé muy bien con vosotros en un ambiente excelente. Me encantaba mejorar mi español con sus dedicados profesores – Alba, Victoria, Sonia, Carmina, Borja y Pablo. Podía verse que les gusta su trabajo. Nos motivaron para hablar lo máximo posible y siempre intentaron darnos mucha información para que pudiéramos desarrollar nuestro conocimiento. Además, me gustaban las actividades socioculturales que permitían conocer otros estudiantes y aprender algo de historia y cultura española. Gracias también a Valeria, quien me ayudó con toda la organización antes mi llegada y siempre estaba a mi disposición durante mi estancia.

Esta es mi segunda vez en Taronja. Me encanta el modo en que se dan las clases. El hecho de tener muchos profesores durante la semana ayuda a comprender más el vocabulario y la gramática, porque cada uno tiene su actitud y su capacidad de enseñanza. Me gustan también las varias actividades que la escuela ofrece. Hay muchas posibilidad de conocer estudiantes de otros países y hablar entre nosotros. Además disfruté de Valencia que es la ciudad más guay.

My experience in Taronja has been unforgettable. Taronja isn’t a school like the others, it’s a big family! I have enjoyed every moment in Valencia and now feel at home here. Thank you for everything. (And see you soon!)

I liked my time in Valencia a lot! The teachers are nice, the school is helpful. The activities are always fun and I enjoyed them a lot. I made a lot of new friends and want to come back. I had a great time and will recommend Taronja!

En general, I have liked it very much. The school is good: the classes are very dynamic and fun, the teachers use different and interesting methods, the material used in the classes is a mix of technologies and games (there aren’t boring books and manuals). The school organises Spanish classes as perfectly as it does socio-cultural activities which help students to meet and get to know new friends. I am very content that I have chosen this school, thanks to Taronja I have had an amazing holiday – from the teachers always ready to explain everything to the other foreign students who are as enthusiastic for Spanish as I am. I have had great practice speaking Spanish with those at Taronja and natives, thanks to Taronja I have learnt a lot of colloquial phrases, and I have increased my vocabulary. In the end I want to say it’s a perfect option to learn Spanish and spend a wonderful holiday in Valencia.

My experience at Taronja school was very good. I have learnt a lot thanks to the very competent teachers, the didactic method, the organisation  of the cultural activities, etc. Furthermore, Valencia offers a tonne of opportunities to have fun! Hopefully I have the chance to return!

Tuve un tiempo maravilloso  en la escuela Taronja y me hubiera gustado poder quedarme más tiempo! Todos los profesores fueron excelentes y me encantó aprender más sobre la cultura española gracias a ellos. La escuela está muy bien ubicada en el centro de Valencia y está rodeada por buenos restaurantes. Sin duda recomendaría Taronja a cualquier persona que quiera mejorar su español mientras se divierte.

Como una persona adulta y trabajadora, es un gran inversión de tiempo y dinero para venir a estudiar español por 3 semanas. También es un desafío. He comprendido profundamente cómo está conectada la cultura y lenguaje. El medio ambiente y la cultura españoles son partes del aprendizaje. También he aprendido sobre mi propia cultura y sobre las culturas de los compañeros de estudio. Para aprender el lenguaje se necesita mucho tiempo, práctica y paciencia y más tiempo, práctica y paciencia. Necesito mucho más de todos esos. Tantas veces, durante estas semanas me he sentido casi deprimido por el aprendizaje del español y al mismo tiempo encuentro al español mas interesante y lo me fascina más que cualquier otro idioma extranjero. Es también muy difícil de alcanzar. Después de este tiempo en Valencia voy a seguir mi camino de larga vida con el español. Taronja ha despertado de nuevo mi curiosidad hacia el español y seguiré alimentándolo. También me he prometido que disfrutaré mas de casas que conozco y trato de tener una actitud curiosa sobre sus formas irregulares y excepciones interminables que necesitan aprender.

As a working adult, coming to study Spanish for three weeks is a big investment of time and money. It’s also a mental challenge. I have come to profoundly understand how the language and culture are connected. The Spanish culture and environment are part of the process of learning. I have also learnt about my own culture and about the cultures of my classmates. The teachers at Taronja are personable and have an encouraging attitude. To learn the language you need a lot of time, practice and patience; and more time, practice and patience. I need a lot more of all of these. So many times, during these weeks I have felt almost depressed by the learning of Spanish, and at the same time have found Spanish more interesting, and it fascinates me more than any other language, it’s also very difficult to grasp. After this time in Valencia, I am going to continue with my life long journey with Spanish. Taronja has reawoken anew my curiosity with Spanish and I will continue feeding it. I have also promised myself to enjoy more things I know and to try and have a curious attitude towards the irregular forms and endless exceptions you need to learn.

I like the school and the classes. Before my arrival, Marta, Valeria and Josevi helped me a lot. The teachers are really nice and funny. I love the teaching methods which are really lively. I would like to return another time.

Taronja es una escuela pequeña, amable, donde conocí muchas personas especiales de todo del mundo. Las personas que trabajan allí son jovenes, contentas y siempre esetan aptas a ayudarnos. Las clases son muy ‘monos’, pués fueron echas por artistas valencianos! Me gustó pasar un mes con vosotros! Gracias a todos de Taronja.
