GALLARATE’S GROUP

Hi everyone, we’re dr. Loco class, we’re italians and we’re 16/17. We have been in Valencia for one week and our experience here has been wonderful and very funny, this city is fascinating, the weather has been great and we’ve visited many places, and also the beach that is our favourite place; we’ve eaten lots of Valencian typical dishes, and we’ve liked them. The families have been amazing and also Taronja school, that’s a wonderful school and the people we’re going to miss more are Victor and Mariajo, the teachers 🙂 GAETANO, ANDREA, PIETRO, RICCARDO, LIVIA, GIULIA, BEATRICE, CATERINA (THE BEST) 🙂 FhZzn We spent a very good week, very funny too! Valencia is a lovely city, but it smells a little bit bad!Teachers are good, sympathetic, beautiful, very professional and opened with the other students. They’re very gentle and they let us listen to the music and watch videos. We learned many things, it’s very funny to learn Spanish. We want to come back here again. It’s also very funny to learn Spanish in the street and using Internet. EMIDIO, SERENA, NAZARENO, LUCA and MATTEO   Plaza-de-Toros-de-Valencia We spent a very funny week because we learned lots of new things. Teachers are very sympathetic and the activities have been very interesting; we had fun also during the lessons. The beach is beautiful and Valencia city too. It was funny to interview people in the street. NANDO’S PAELLA IS DELICIOUS! We would like to come back to Valencia again. Thanks to everyone! SAMIRA, ALICE, FEDERICA and CHRISTIAN

albufera-4Very enjoyable week learning Spanish and Spanish cooking. Staff were friendly and helpful. As a beginner with no Spanish whatsoever, the teachers unsured you do not get left behind. I learned a huge amount of words and verbs and have more confidence in everyday exchanges in the real world and I can read and understand a lot more in the streets around me. The cooking was also very good. The cook gave the lessons in Spanish but also translated in English. We cooked many Spanish dishes but especially local Valencia food. We got a very good insight into local Spanish culture and food practices, the cooking was very hands on and we were allowed to «get our hands dirty» with plenty of practice. Plus we got to eat some wonderful dishes cooked by our professional chef (very tasty!!! Mucho gusto!!!). We also got to see Albufera where the rice grows locally and visited the mill to see the rice-processing.
Great week, highly recommend it.

EVA AEBERHARD When I came to Valencia it was very hot, in contrast to Switzerland. I liked that a lot! During the two weeks I learnt a lot of the Spanish language because before I couldn`t express myself in Spanish almost nothing, and now I can speak it a little bit better. I also learnt three past times that I didn`t know before. People in the classroom were very kind and I lived enjoyable and unforgettable moments with them. For example the «Tapas Tour», the «Paella Party», the Copa UEFA match in «Mestalla» and of course the summer ending huge party on the beach.
In these two weeks I visited lots of places, like «Ciudad Vieja», the beach and the sea and much more. I enjoyed a lot here in Valencia.
Thank you for eveything!

Jo

My name is Joy and I’m English. Before coming to Valencia, I’ve been studying Spanish for six months. I live in Cologne (Germany) and I like languages very much, hence I decided to learn Spanish. Unfortunately I studied only for one week in Valencia, and a week is not enough. Valencia is very beautiful and I was very happy during this week.valencia The teachers in the school are fabulous and my Spanish lessons were always nice. After a week in Valencia, I’m going to go to Madrid to practice Spanish a lot. In the future I definitely will come back to Valencia.

Good luck in Valencia and enjoy the city.

I can’t believe that, since I came here only two weeks have passed, why now I can Speak Spanish more than before? 11513164-valencia-spagna--vecchia-fortificazione-in-mura-della-citta-torre-quartI think that the lessons and the activities have been very useful. I could practice my grammar and the vocabulary I learnt during my classes, through the activities with the other students. So I feel like I speak Spanish from the morning until the night and I could make friends too. Without speaking English. I liked a lot my teachers, they were very sympathetic, thoughtful and funny! Also Marta and the staff of the association have been very helpful. I spoke with Marta about some worries and she has been great. Thank you for everything Marta! And of course thanks to my teachers. Particularly thanks for the party on the beach. What a great opportunity, I practiced Spanish until 5 in the morning with a lot of Tequila.

Besos Taronja!

Luisa

Luisa Fehlmann   The school is perfect! There are always activities and you meet lots of people. It’s a good possibility to know the Spanish culture in Valencia city.

Chiara

Chiara Margutti We came here without knowing not even a Spanish word. After two weeks I learnt a lot and I spent a great time. I’m very glad of the activities I’ve done with the school. I’ll never forget the people I met, I met many people from different countries, good people. Now I understand enough well when people talk to me and I speak enough well, but I still have to study a lot. If my friends wanted to come to Valencia I would suggest them this school, because you learn Spanish in a funny and fast way.

Marco

Marco Celsan My experience in this school was beautiful. I’ve learnt enough, althoug I didn’t go to many lessons. I went to many parties and I visited lots of places. The teachers of the school were very professional and sympathetic. It appears that it’s easy to speak English, but it’s hard to write texts.

Martina

Martina Vitale If every school were like this I’d like to study for my entire life!!! But now I have to work, but we’ll see at the «Tapas Tour», in this way you can drink and meet all the people of the world!!! The best way to learn is to have fun, like you do!!! Greetings and kisses to everyone

I liked a lot going to the Taronja school, because learning Spanish is funny, there’s not a classic and boring teaching method. Everything is very organized and the reception is always available. The events that the school organizes are always new and useful to practice the language with other students. The teachers are very competent and very young. I like them all! I spent two weeks in the school and I can say that I learned a lot and I would recommend Taronja to every person. I’m going to miss you!

Hi guys! My name’s Francesca, I’m 19 and I’m from Italy. I’m here to practice photography for three months and I’ve studied in the Taronja school for two weeks. Everything is great! I’ve done a lot of experience and I’ve met a lot of people from all over the world! You can do many activities in the school: «Tapas Tour» to meet the new students, cooking class with the Chef Nando, where you can see and taste typical dishes from Spain and lots of parties in the weekend! The teachers are very beautiful and kind and in a small time I’ve learnt a lot. Taronja is more than a school! Although I’ve finished the Spanish course, I believe I will keep on enjoying the school activities. Thanks to everyone in particular to my tutor Fernando!

I’m going to miss you!

Nienke

Nienke Van der Veen Hi! I’m Nienke and I’m from Holland. I’m 26. I like a lot traveling to Spain and for this reason I wanted to improve my Spanish. I chose Valencia, because I’ve never been there and it was a fantastic choice, especially for the Taronja school. The teachers are very funny and I’ve never laughed so much in a classroom, but I learnt a lot too. The activities were very funny. I liked a lot the «Paella Party» and the cooking class, because chef Nando’s food was amazing! Furthermore Valencia is a very beautiful city. My favourites places are the Turia Park, la Ciudad de las Artes y Ciencias and the beach, of course! In summary it has been an amazing experience!
