Anna

Anna EversHi! My name is Anna and I´m from Germany. Last year I was six months in Valencia. I made a language course at Taronja School and afterwards made an internship in the exportation sector. As I loved Valencia, the Spanish culture and the ambience in the school, I decided to return for vacations. I passed two wonderful weeks here, I learned a lot, I got to know many people from all around the world and I hat a lot of fun during the activities. See you next time!

Jana

Jana DahmenHi, I´m Jana from Belgium and I studied 2 weeks at Taronja School. I don´t want to write nothing because it is already my last day here in Valencia. I think it is a positive thing that I don´t want to go back home?! It is simple: the city of Valencia is very beautiful, the people very likeable and the food very good. In the school it is interesting to get to know new cultures and mentalities and everyone is very open-minded, students and teachers. The courses are funny and I learned a lot outside the school. There are many activities for speaking Spanish, drinking, eating and having a party like the Spanish people. Thank you Taronja – the best experience of my life!

Silvia

Silvia SannaI am 26 years old and for improving my Spanish, I chose Taronja School in the wonderful city Valencia. The city is very secure with many tourists and the historic centre is lovely! Taronja is situated in a central street next to many shops and restaurants so that the students can have a little rest after the lessons. The teachers I got to know were Ana, Alex, Ricardo y Sergio: young people you will never get bored from! In my class I got to know many people from different countries and it was funny to confront them, talking about some situations. Also the Spanish girl I lived with was very nice and offered a lot. We also talked in Valencian. Truth is, I don´t want to return to my country, I´d like to stay for another two months. =) Thank you Taronja for everything, you are a fantastic school!

Jean-Yves

Jean-YvesThe courses are very interesting and funny. The themes of the courses are versatile and we get to know lots of words of the daily life. The teachers are young and the courses are lively. If I may suggest some ideas: give some exercises to the students for homework after every lesson.

Raphael

Raphael GrasFive unforgettable weeks! Taronja is a very dynamic school, the classes are very pleasant and useful and the activities versatile and funny: culture, party, gastronomy. You can´t be bored one minute, I had incredible vacations!

Silvana

Silvana HartmannHi! My name is Silvana and I´m from Switzerland. With my age of 17 I´m one of the youngest here but that doesn´t matter because the people in general are pretty young. I love the activities of the school like the Paella party, the soccer games or the parties at the beach. During your stay here you have to enjoy the beautiful beaches! I always ate frozen yoghurt which is something I will really miss in Switzerland. It is very impressive to pass the time with people from all around the world and you have the opportunity to make friends from various nationalities. In addition, the siesta is something vital because you don´t have much time to relax with all the parties. You simply have to love Valencia and Taronja!

Dima and Andreas

We loved everything. EspeDima Kohiken e Andreas Aumyrcially the teachers and the activities! We had a great time that we will never forget and that let us mature! The activities, for example the “Tapas Tour”, were a blast. Taronja School is a very good establishment and the teachers are very likeable. Thank you for everything and we will miss you!

Jana

Taronja Blog_Jana_smallTwo weeks ago, when I went to Valencia, I wasn’t very enthusiastic. I only booked this course because I needed it for my university. But after the first day I knew that I would like the following days. Taronja welcomed all the knew students individually before classes and gave a informative briefing afterwards. I felt that the school has been very organized and I was especially surprised by all the activities Taronja offered. During the last two weeks, I got to know the Spanish culture a little better. I went to a language exchange, ate Paella, Tapas and Fideua, I burned under the sun, went to parties, watched the Spanish TV and learned about how the Spanish people throw a party. Of course, I also did turistic things like a guided tour through the city, climbing the Miguelete, loosing myself in Valencia and taking hundreds of fotos. I think that I’m more comfortable when speaking Spanish. Above all, I’m not scared of making mistakes any more. I just talk. I´m glad that I chose to come to Valencia and I would recommend it to everyone who not only want to study the language but also want to take part in the Spanish culture. Jana

Christina CanningTaronja is the best school in Valencia! The teachers are very likeable and funny and the school organizes many activities for the students. I love the parties at the beach and the Paella Party! Chef Nando does a very tasty Paella! Valencia is a very beautiful and interesting city. When I studied in Valencia, I went to the beach every week and explored the city a lot. My favourite things to do in Valencia are the museum «faller», the «parque de Turia» and the food, of course! Thank you for everything and best regards! Christina

Christina Kropp¡Hola! My name is Christina and I’m fom Germany. I’m learning Spanish for my university entrance diploma, in one year I have an oral exam. I love… Valencia. Why? Because of… … the architecture … the palms (there aren’t any in Germany) … the beach (with the waves and the sand) and the parties. 🙂 Why Taronja School? I don’t know 😛 But I know that it was a good  decision… … The activities and the living together were fantastic! PS: Don’t forget the Paella of Chef Nando!
