Ysaline

My name is Ysaline and i stayed 5 months in Valencia and in the school Taronja. When i arrived at Valencia i wasn’t able to speak one word in spanish. I’ve never studied spanish. But after one week with 4 hours of classes and more beach than ever i could speak and understood without any problems. Today is my penultimate day ad i can’t believe that i’m leaving all this behind me. I made friends who i never will forget, memories which are one of the best in my life. Also i learned a beautiful lenguage and this so fast. It’s amazing! I wont forget the people i got to know, the places i’ve been to and the teachers i had. Taronja is not a school like the others. Taronja is a family, a community  of brilliant, crazy, funny, incredible and unforgetable people, whether teachers, grant holder or student. While these 5 months i stayed in a spanish family. It couldn’t have been better: tipical food, tipical life. It was such a great experience. Also the activities which are organised from the school help you to discover the spanish life. I want to say thank you to all the persons who made this trip to an incredible and unique experience. Ysaline Colonval Belgica

Stedelijk Gymnasium

Hi Sweeties!

We are a group of 8 students from Holland ( Tom, Jesús, Kevin, Juanes, Sjoerd, Royce, Kim, Willemyn, Anne y Malin ). We stayed one week in Valencia for learning spanish at Taronjaschool. We visited many interesing places like the city of «las artes y ciencias», the old town, Mercado Central and we ate Churros, Horchata and Paella from Chef Nando 🙂 We also had Nandos cooking class and learned how to cook croquette with ham. The school is so much fun! We had Ana and Victor as teachers. They’re so nice !! Learning was also fun. We did it for example with Games like means of transporte, sport and speak to the people on the street. We like Valencia much because it’s really warm and the people are so nice and open. It’s a extraordinary, funny and fantastic city!! This is not a «Goodbye», this is a «see you soon»! Big kiss! Stedelijk School   Vernice Kirrmaier

It was an incredible time !!

In may i decided to go to Valencia for the vacactions to learn spanish. I searched through internet and found the Taronjaschool. Today is my last day and tomorrow i’m leaving to go home again. I’ve been here for 2 weeks and i think that i improved my spanish, but i’m still not satisfited with my level, thats why i want to keep on learning and practicing the lenguage. This week i bought two books which are written from spanish writers to read them at house. In general the city is beautifu and i really like the architecture and the ambience. At one hand the city has a historic part and on the other hand it’s very modern. I think both are stunning. Another good thing is that the beach is not that far away; you just have to take the bus and you’re there. I also think that the spanish people are very symphatic and open, but i could never live here. At the end i want to say something about the school. I liked the school and  the best thing at school was that you have the chance to get to know so many people and about the spanish libe through all the drifferent activities. It defenitely was an inredible time !!   valencia

Everybody was so nice!

Everything was so great: the houses and the activities! In all the time i learned so many things. And the activities are very interesting, for example the Flamencoshow or other very funny activities like the Beachparty! But the most important thing is that the teachers and everybody from the school is so kind and nice!   monika biergans

Four awesome weeks in Taronja pased by. The teachers are such friendly, kind and intent persons and the school always cared about our worries and needs, just like the personal administracion. They teach spanish with effect and kidness. Also the activities are really variable. The cooking of the cook Fernando is delicious and Valencia is a beautiful city. There are so many things to do and see. For me this was a brilliant experience!!Thank you for everything!!! Roselyne from France 196086

There are no words which could discribe how much i liked the whole experience here.»Taronja» is a school with maniacs, from the teachers to the students and empoyers… but it’s a great type of crayzness which you can’t see in other places like this : It’s a positive crazyness, which always makes you laugh and smile. I will always keep the teachers, which i had in class, and the ones, who shared their time between a lot of books with me, in my heart. A huge thank you to all the persons who teached me the language and many other things. And of course the city… the fantastic and beautiful city where it never gets cold ( well almost never ) and i’m really in love with. And thanks to the persons who offered me get to know all these special friends here. Every person in general who was here, not important if it was a student, a worker or any other person, they never leave completely. They always leave a little part of them at the school and the school always has a open door for everyone. At the end i’m really thankfull for everyone who took part in the school; the two Martas ( the blonde one and the the one with the red hair ), the chef Nando, Maxi, Miguel 🙂 It’s amazing to think back at this 3 months. I will miss everyone sooooooo bad !! In every way, as i always say and think, this isn’t a «Bye» but it’s a honestly ment «See you soon» 🙂 CIAO TARONJA!!!!! Laura from Italy

Clara

HI!

My name is Clara and i’m from Denmark. I arrived 3 months ago in Valencia and when i arrived i couldn’t speak one word in spanish. The 3 months were a incredible time for me. Valencia is a beautiful city because she offers so many different things. In summer ( september- october ) you can visit the beach in Malvarrosa which is really near the city. Of course the school offers many activities too : for example the Intercambio ( its a good oppurtunity for practicing your spanish with Spanish ) and the Paella Party which is on every Tuesday with all the students of the school. At the Weekend there are many partys at the beach or in a club. The partys are always really funny.  Also the class is so funny and intensive at the same time and we learned so much in such a little time. The teachers are very nice, kind and are more like friends because they join the activities and partys too. In these 3 months i met many new people who where in the same situacion as me : we wanted to learn spanish. I will return to Denmark with a bunch of new friends and beautiful memories of Taronja and my incredible time here in Valencia. I want to say thank you for everything, Taronja! I will never ever forget my stay here. Maybe we’ll see us soon! Clara Denmark

Claudia

HI!

My name is Claudia and i’ve been studying here for 4 months in Taronja! I began to learn spanish here and i couldn’t speak a word in spanish before. After the 4 months my aim now is to finish my stay with the DELE test with the level B2. I hope i’ve done well! But actually i want to talk about the school. Taronja is a school with many activities – almost everyday!  The teachers are super friendly and they also take part at the activities. It’s not a teacher – student relationship, it’s more a friendship between two persons who want to learn things. The students want to listen to spanish and want to learn some tipical things which exist in Spain and meanwhile the teachers want to know something about your country. In the summer  there are everday different activities, but the most famose one is the party at the beach every Friday. It’s a great experience for all of the 30-70 tudents from Europe, but also from Asia, America and Australia, when they are together at the beach and talk and enjoy the time. So in Summer there is always something to do, there are many partys, students and almost ever week the students change. But the Winter is also cool at Taronja. There are not as many students as in Summer, but you get a feeling of beeing a family. I really cant say if i like the Winter or the Summer more. They just are two different experience, but both are incredible and i will never forgett my stay in Spain!   Claudia Switzerland

Leila

I arrived at the 1 of september in Valencia and at the school and i felt immediately good there. If you would discribe Taronja in one word it would be INCREDIBLE. There are many activities for example the Paella Party, de Cinema Nights and the partys. We’ve never been bored here. We also could go to the famose beach Malvarrosa until october in the summer. I had such a awesome time in the school. The lessons are really funny, but at the same time you learn the grammatic, are laughing so much and speaking about many topics. These 3 months were intensive and life-enhancing. I wont doubt to return to Valencia because i will miss this place really fast.Well, thanks for everything Taronja and see you soon!! Leila, Switzerland
