I really liked the spanish course. I was only here for two weeks but I learned a lot. The teachers are very knowledgeable and it´s fun to study with them. I also liked the activities of the school. If you want you can do something everyday: Paella party, tapas tour, go to museums.. I recommend the school!   -Markus (Austria)

Byasen VGS School 17 – 23 March

We are a group from Norway and we stayed in Valencia for a week to study spanish. We have seen big fallas and the touristic hotspots. We lived with spanish families and we liked them a lot. Everyday we ate and drunk typical spanish things. We also went to the beach twice for some sunbathing, Daniel and Helle, two of our students, even went swimming in the sea. We have learned a lot of spanish during this week, and as well a lot about the spanish culture. We liked the Fallas a lot and the fireworks.

First off: Thank you teachers, interns, and anyone involved in Taronja! I couldn´t have chosen any better. I love the school, the city, the climate, the athmosphere, and of course the football. I have enjoyed my time here. People here are very friendly and I felt loved during my stay. Don´t ever change! And if you do, only in for the good! 😉 I will return one day, definetly for the 20th year celebration! I will miss you a lot and I only have beautiful memories! Hug!  Paula (Germany)

I only had one week of courses but it was an interesting and memorable experience. Thanks to the teachers my level of spanish increased a lot and I can speak way more fluent now. Everyone working at Taronja is friendly and they will help you find your way. The school is perfect to combine with visiting the city because of its central location. Paola

Hello, we are students of the hospitality school in Amsterdam. We stayed here for a week with thirty-nine students. We have done a lot of activities, for instance; bodega, salsa, paella party and the tapas tour. The best activity was Bodega. The teachers are very friendly and enthusiastic. We learned a lot of spanish. We like Valencia because it is a beautiful city. Thanks for everything, we recommend it! Kisses. The spanish language is beautiful, we learned a lot in the school. Our housing was big and the family very friendly. It was a nice week. Marjolein The trip to Valencia was very, very nice. The classes are cool. We drank a lot of beer and had a lot of parties. Thanks for the classes, Victor and Ana are really good. We are here to learn spanish and to learn about outings in Valencia. We went to Bolsería a lot and we have been relaxing in the park. The lectures are very fun, we loved Valencia. We are the legendary group from Italia who obtained the Leonardo scholarship. They send us to the best spanish school in the world; Taronja! We enjoyed being part of the school! The teachers were very cool and the activities with them and the others from the school were very very enjoyable. These activities helped us learn spanish on a fun way. We miss you all and we would like to see all of you again!

¡Hola! My name is Antje, I am 35 years old and from Germany. I live in a town in the nort west of Germany, near Bremen. One of the first things i  learned at Taronja and i wasn’t sure if i would ever learn more because of my little knowledge of the language. But i did! My gratitude for all my teachers! Very friendly, fun, patient etc. To cut it short; Quiero Taronja! My time in Valencia has been awesome. The whole team did a very good job. Perfect organisation, very good accomodation and loads of activities during the week. I’m enjoyed it very much being part of the  “Taronja Family”, and i would love to come back one time. I liked my week at Taronja. I suggest that the new students fill in the questionaire before the first class starts this way they can indicate what needs to be improved. Also, it would be nice to make an exam to finish the period at school. Maybe it could help define what level of certificate you would recommend. Bert

¡Goodbye Valencia! We had a trip of a week in Valencia, and we had a fantastic time! We visited Oceanográfico, the Biopark, and La ciudad de las artes y ciencias and some other museums. We liked the Oceanográfico and the Bio park very much, mainly because we could see a lot of interesting animals but we also enjoyed the natural environment.  But the things that we enjoyed the most were the beach and the sea. Here we played volleybal and football. We think that we got to know the spanish culture quite well, and we hope to learn more spanish. In other words, the week in Valencia was unforgettable and it hurts to say goodbye. Miguel, David, Matthew & Felipe. The extreme kids. Valencia is beautiful and the weather is always great. Because of that we could visit a  lot of interesting places and museums. We especially liked the Biopark and the Oceanografico, where we could see animals from whole over the world.  Furthermore we went to the beach to relax and enjoy the sun. The food was great and we could try a lot of typical Valencian dishes. For example the paella, which was prepared by Taronja was fantastic. We liked the school a lot and the teachers were fun and we improved our spanish. It was an unforgettable experience and we would like to return someday! We went to see the old cathedral, ciudad de las ciencias which was very impresive, and the Oceanografico. We were fascinated by the sharks and the seahorses. As well we saw a dolpinshow which was fantastic. Furthermore, we loved the beach, eventhough it was really windy when we were there. We think that the spanish are very open, friendly and fun, especially our host families treated us very wel. We can´t forget how good the food was, especially the variety of fruits. We learned a thing or two about spanish topics and dialy life while being at Taronja. We could get along great with the teachers. Hello! I am Olivia, I am from Macau, China. I stayed with Taronja for almost 9 months. During these 9 months I saw many of my friends writing their testament when they went back to their homes/countries. Now, it´s my turn. I started from almost zero and now I can communicate freely. I want to express my gratitude to all the teachers and my classmates. The teachers are very professional and fun (and also crazy haha). The classes are very organized and the teachers helped me a lot (Love you guys!!) Furthermore I made a lot of friends from everywhere around the world. It makes me happy that on one side I was able to learn spanish and get to know different cultures and on the otherside I was able to represent my city, Macau, and as wel the culture of Macau and China. Not forgot to mention the activities of the school are AMAZING and INCREDIBLE! After my classes I learned and enjoyed a lot in the activities. I think it´s really nice that the school is located in the center of Valencia, very convenient and perfect for seeing the city. Next to that, I lived in a beautiful appartment with two spanish and one mexican. I was learning spanish every minute except for when I slept. Everything around me was completly spanish. In the end, (I don´t really want to say this 🙁 ) I want to say that I am in love with Valencia and I will surely return real soon. Taronja is the best school, and my home in Valencia. My experience was beautiful, amazing, unforgettable, beneficial, great, interesting.. Well! I have to take it easy here or else I will never stop writing lol. Btw. Taronja has been the ideal school to learn spanish. Because of the structure of the courses. Lectures in the morning and activities in the afternoon, which means that you could practice the theory you learned in the morning during the activities in the afternoon. The activities in the afternoons were very fun. All the teachers are patient and amusing. I think that my spanish has improved in two weeks and I feel much more confident when I am trying to speak the language. -Anna
