A WEEK WE WON’T FORGET
GRUPO TULLN
¡Hi!
«Somos de Austria, somos de Tulln
una ciudad que no es nada común
En clase de español mola mogollón,
con Carlos y Martina no hay mucha disciplina.»
The beginning of the rap song we made during the Spanish class. We are three girls and we’re 17. We liked a lot last week. We went to the «Ciudad de las artes y las Ciencias» and we saw a dolphin show that we liked a lot. We went to the beach and to the castles of Sagunt and Peñiscola. We didn’t stay all the days in the school, and we saw the port, the beach, the old Town and the «mercado» of Valencia. Everything was well organized and we like the teachers- Maria José and Carlos- because they’re very lovely and kind. We had a great time, thanks. Kisses Raffi, Julia and Gabi¡Hi everyone!
We’re Lukas, Fabio, Jakob y Matthias, four boys from Austria. We have been in Valencia for one week and we have seen lots of cultural things. Today is the last day of our trip and it has been a week we liked a lot. We visited the «Ciudad de la Ciencia» and we loved it. In the Oceanografico we saw lots of animals who live in the sea and we saw a dolphin show. We went to the castle of Sagunto and Peñiscola and we went to the beach because it was a wonderful day, but the beach smelled like cucumbers. It has been a week we won’t forget. Fabio, Lukas, Jakob, Matthias This week we’ve been in Valencia. We went to the «Ciudad de las artes y las Ciencias». On Monday we had our first day in Taronja school. We went to the beach sometimes and we swam in the sea. We went to the Old Town and we visited the Castles of Sagunto and Peñiscola. On Wednesday we had a free afternoon so we went shopping and to the beach. We tried horchata and churros with chocolate at the Mercado Central. After a cooking lesson we tasted Paella and Sangría. During the lessons we wrote a rap which compares Valencia to Austria. It has been a very interesting and funny trip and we learned a lot. Kevin, Nadja, Christina, Lukas This week we’ve been in Valencia. After lessons we did a lot of activities with the lovely teachers of Taronja. On Monday we went to the Old Town that is very beautiful and interesting and we visisted the «Museo Taurino». Next day we went to the Paseo Marítimo and we visited the new port and also the old one. Furthermore we visited the «Mercado Central» and after we had cooking lesson with the Chef Nando, the best of all the world, as he says. After we ate the best paella of our lives. But the best thing was the «Ciudad of las Artes y las Ciencias» and the romantic cities of Sagunto and Peñiscola. In summary this trip has been very funny, interesting and we learned very much, no, more! Theresa, Anna, Joachim, Christina We’re Kathi, Vici, Teresa, David, Dominik, Lucas, Clarissa and Michael from Austria. We’re Spanish students so we went to Valencia with our Spanish teachers. We went to the beach, we enjoyed the sun, we visited Peñiscola and Sagunto and the «Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias». We slept in Valencian families houses and there we ate lots of jam biscuits. .We studied in Taronja, a Spanish school for foreigners. In total we spent four days in the school, we improved our Spanish and we increased our vocabulary. The last day the chef Nando cooked a paella that was very good. Ultimately we spent an awesome week.Stella

I met a lot of people with whom I hope to keep in touch. The school organizes lots of interesting activities; above all I adored the parties on the beach. Valencia is a fantastic city that offers wonderful things.»Stella

«Here time passed very fast, so fast that I didn’t realize that today is my last day here in Taronja. Valencia stole a part of my heart; here I have lots of memories connected to many people. I believe I’m going to come back to this magic and lovely city. I’m going to miss a lot of people, firstly the boys and girls from different parts of the world, and also the teachers of the school.
A big kiss.»

« «Hi, my names’Jess, I’m from Berlin» these were almost the only words I could say on my first day in Taronja school.
After four weeks I can write this text. I know it’s not «world’s literature» , but it’s a pleasure that I can share this thoughts with other people. I liked a lot the teachers, very simpathetic, and the atmosphere a little bit crazy. Furthermore the program after the regular classes was varied and funny.
In my first month in Valencia I learned a lot about Valencia’s people, very opened and lovely, I ate the typical food like Paella and Gazpacho and I enjoyed the good weather/hot. But the best thing is the beach.
Valencia is a city with everything (history, nature and shopping opportunities, relax and parties).
Of course! There are things I miss, for example the cereal bread or drinking directly from de tap. But they’re only two things compared to all the good things. So: don’t shout!
I’m going to stay other 5 months in Valencia ( the beautiful city of «the arts and sciences»).
I’m curious about the things that will happen.

«I like Taronja school and I will certainly recommend other students to study here. In merely 4 weeks I’ve learned a lot.
These teachers are really nice. In class we learn Spanish through various activities that are really interesting.
In addition, in each week’s activities I can get to know people, students and teachers as well, making friends with them.
I will miss everything here.»

The time I spent in Valencia has been short but very beautiful. I like a lot the school and the teachers. They’re kind, lovely and very helpful. Furthermore I like a lot the activities out of the school. Although I’ve been only for a short time, it has been very funny, and now I know people from other countries.

I chose Taronja because it seemed very good with all its activities and the place in Valencia.
After a month here I can recommend Valencia and Taronja school. It was a good decision to learn Spanish in such a lovely and beautiful place. It’s impossible to say what was best. My family, the sun or the school…I don’t know!

I liked the time I spent in Valencia,
the school is very good. The activities such as Friday parties or excursions in the weekend have been unforgettable. The activities have been good to meet other students. Even the teachers have been very kind. Mainly I had fun during my time in the school.
Jessica
My name’s Jessica and I’m from Texas. My hobbies are: doing yoga, reading, going out or hanging out with friends, and spending time with family. I chose Taronja school because I wanted to stay close to the beach. I also heard good things about Valencia and Taronja teachers. I liked a lot the experience here in Valencia. There are lots of restaurants, bars, and shops if you want to have shopping. Furthermore, the school is very close to the beach,
and for this reason you can go at the beach after or before classes, every day.
Teachers are wonderful and the school always prepares funny activities to know new people. For these reasons, I recommend you Valencia. Come to Valencia right now!
If you come, I’m sure you’re going to have fun!
