Lucy

Lucy Davies I liked studying in Valencia and in the Taronja school very much, and I hope I have learnt something. The teachers and the other members of the staff have been very kind and have done everything was possible to let the students have a good experience. Personally I would have preferred to have had more conversations classes instead of grammar classes. I went to Spain to speak Spanish, but outisde the school the other students preferred to speak English. Also in the shops when I asked for something they always answered me in English. It has been very annoying! Or maybe my Spanish is not so good!

Goodbye and thank you very much.

Marco

Marco Celsan My experience in this school was beautiful. I’ve learnt enough, althoug I didn’t go to many lessons. I went to many parties and I visited lots of places. The teachers of the school were very professional and sympathetic. It appears that it’s easy to speak English, but it’s hard to write texts.

Martina

Martina Vitale If every school were like this I’d like to study for my entire life!!! But now I have to work, but we’ll see at the «Tapas Tour», in this way you can drink and meet all the people of the world!!! The best way to learn is to have fun, like you do!!! Greetings and kisses to everyone

I liked a lot going to the Taronja school, because learning Spanish is funny, there’s not a classic and boring teaching method. Everything is very organized and the reception is always available. The events that the school organizes are always new and useful to practice the language with other students. The teachers are very competent and very young. I like them all! I spent two weeks in the school and I can say that I learned a lot and I would recommend Taronja to every person. I’m going to miss you!

Hi guys! My name’s Francesca, I’m 19 and I’m from Italy. I’m here to practice photography for three months and I’ve studied in the Taronja school for two weeks. Everything is great! I’ve done a lot of experience and I’ve met a lot of people from all over the world! You can do many activities in the school: «Tapas Tour» to meet the new students, cooking class with the Chef Nando, where you can see and taste typical dishes from Spain and lots of parties in the weekend! The teachers are very beautiful and kind and in a small time I’ve learnt a lot. Taronja is more than a school! Although I’ve finished the Spanish course, I believe I will keep on enjoying the school activities. Thanks to everyone in particular to my tutor Fernando!

I’m going to miss you!

9672203282_f1f40c2896_o In these two weeks in Taronja I learned Spanish very well thanks to the teachers, with their interesting and funny lessons. Now I can speak and understand the language enough well. I liked the activities very much, because they’re always different. I would suggest this school to my friends, because it has been a very good experience.

Nienke

Nienke Van der Veen Hi! I’m Nienke and I’m from Holland. I’m 26. I like a lot traveling to Spain and for this reason I wanted to improve my Spanish. I chose Valencia, because I’ve never been there and it was a fantastic choice, especially for the Taronja school. The teachers are very funny and I’ve never laughed so much in a classroom, but I learnt a lot too. The activities were very funny. I liked a lot the «Paella Party» and the cooking class, because chef Nando’s food was amazing! Furthermore Valencia is a very beautiful city. My favourites places are the Turia Park, la Ciudad de las Artes y Ciencias and the beach, of course! In summary it has been an amazing experience!

Marie

Marie Krug I don’t like to remember, but that’s the reality: after a month spent here, this weekend I have to come back to Belgium. I think I’m going to have a very little space in my luggage not only for the things I bought, but especially for all my experiences and the things that Taronja school taught me. For this reason I want to thank all the people of the school: the teachers, the intermediaries…It’s because of them that after a month I can speak Spanish. I think I’m never going to forget words like «¡vale!», «vaamos chicos», «borracha», «me gusta», «hasta luego»,… But also the activities in the school gave me the best experiences: «Paella Party», «Tapas Tour», Umbracle, Carnaval, Tomatina, party on the beach, Oktoberfest,… In Valencia every day there’s a party!!! I can tell much more, but I’ll end here. Valencia the school and all the people 🙂 I’m going to miss you very very much! Hasta luego, Marie (A.L. haha)

Willemjin

Willemjin Langhorst I had so much fun in Taronja. The activities are very funny and you meet many people of different nacionalities. It’s good to have classes in small groups because in this way you learn much more. My vocabulary is better now, but since I spent in Taronka only a week I didn’t learn much grammar but It’s ok 🙂 The teachers were very kind and they helped me a lot.

Intern Nina

1077080_624289260928238_90882066_oHey there! My name is Nina, I’m 23 years old and I’m from Germany. I had to do an internship abroad for my university for 3 months. For the first month I was in Canada but I felt very bad there, for various reasons. One day I talked to my friend Antonia, who was doing her internship at TARONJA, via Skype and I asked her if they need another intern because I wanted to change my internship… FASTLY! And what can I say.. since July I am here! I feel great here, I made many wonderful experiences, I met a bunch of amazing people and I made friendships for the rest of my life (I hope!). When I arrived here, my colleagues said «Here at taronja we are like a family» – it’s true. Taronja really is a big family where everybody is welcome from the first second on. After work, we interns always went to the activities together with the students. At Taronja we organize activities for every day of the week and they are perfect for getting to know the students, teachers and chefs of the school. I can’t tell what I like most of Valencia and Taronja. I like everything! The city, the beach, the Spanish people, the food (especially the Paella of Nando..hmmmm!), the classes… everything. Time went by so fast, I feel like I still am in my first week here, but it actually is my last and I have to leave in two days. How sad! When you go to Taronja you will meet loads of people from all around the world: Italians (lots of them :D), Dutch, Danes, Chinese, Germans, Poles, English and of course Spanish. I have to say that the classes in school are very very good. The teachers are always friendly and they help you with every problem you may have. When I arrived at Valencia, I couldn’t speak Spanish that well. Now I talk faster and more confident. I like! 😉 I’m sure that I will return to Valencia and Taronja… maybe next year as a student? Taronjeros, I want to thank you for giving me the chance to work with you, for this wonderful time, for everything. I’m leaving with one eye laughing and one eye crying. Maany kisses, Nina

Intern Antonia

Antonia ZeissHi everyone! My name is Antonia, I’m 21 years old and I’m from Hamburg. Last year, I was here in Valencia for 3 weeks as a student of Taronja. I loved it, so when I knew that I have to do my internship in a foreign city I thought «I will return to Valencia». So I applied for an intership here at Taronja. And here I am! I arrived at Valencia on June 3 and now, 3 months later, I have to go to back to Germany. I leave with a bag of amazing experiences, adventures and very funny days. And most importantly friendships for the whole life. I can’t count the people I met here. People from the Netherlands, Italy, Russia, Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland, England and many more.  Because that’s for sure, when you arrive here, you will meet people from all over the world who also stay here to learn Spanish. I always liked to travel to get to know other cultures, manners and countries. But I also thought that I have to visit all the different countries for that. But no. Here at TARONJA you can get to know all of this when you are with the people from other countries. When you eat together with other persons, you recognize the different manners, also when you talk to them and most importantly when you ask them about their countries, they tell you many interesting things. For example, I didn’t know that the temperature in Russia can be -70 degrees. How cold! But these are not the only reasons why I returned. TARONJA is like a big family, after the TAPAS TOUR on monday, you know round about every student, new and old ones. The school may be small, but it really is a huge family. In my three months here I met almost 200 great people. Every tuesday our bosses Nando and Maxi are cooking a Paella for the entire school. And every wednesday you can see, learn the vocab and try what Nando cooks in his cooking class. I’m not only saying this because I was the intern during 3 months, but because it is something I really like. The school offers many activities every day of the week. It is very important that you join them because you will meet the people who also are at the school. =) Well, I could write many things more but I think it’s better if you make your own experiences when you come to  TARONJA! So only 3 words at the end: SEE YOU GUYS! PS: Chiiicooooooooooos vamoooooooooos will be famous one day xD Kisses, Antonia

Daniele

Daniele BarisonHi, I’m Daniele from Italy. Before coming to Valencia I have never studied Spanish, now after two months I can speak quite well. I guess all the credit goes to the teachers as well as the activities that allow you to speak and practice a lot. Taronja is a picture-book family, so I advise you to try it and to live in Valencia and Taronja. Taronjeros, I already miss you but I’m sure that I will come back. Daniele
