Kitty
I’m Kitty. I have studied Spanish at Taronja for two weeks. I study Spanish since two weeks. I really like Valencia. Valencia is a very nice and interesting city. The beach is also very nice. I love to buy things here because in Spain they are cheaper and nicer than in HK. I love to eat paella with seafood and drink Sangria.
Marianne
My name is Marianne and I am from Germany, near Munich. I’m 22 years old and I study international economy in Innsbruck, Austria. *
I like Valencia a lot, because it is a very green city with the Turia and a lot more things to do.
The best is ‘the City of Arts and Sciences’, the historic center with the cathedral and of course the beach and the sun.
Taronja is a very good Spanish school because all the Spanish teachers are friendly and competent.
I have learned a lot here and I really liked that the Spanish classes were small, and that I could meet many different people.
There are many activities at night particularly the «Tapas Tour» is very good.
I enjoyed my holiday in Valencia and at Taronja Spanish School and hopefully I can return sometime.
* I learn Spanish for my studies and because I think it is a very beautiful language.
Frédérique
Hallo! My name is Frédérique and I’m from Paris. I’m a documentary filmmaker (film and radio) and I translate books from English into French. Last winter I was in Valencia for a few days to visit a protagonist of my last film. I spottet him in Paris and he is living here in Valencia. One day I was walking alone in the neighborhood of Cabanyal, near the beach, and I liked it so much that at the end of the visit I sat on a bench and cried. In this moment, I decided to return to Valencia to live here for a few months and learn more Spanish meanwhile. Then, I searched for a Spanish school in the internet and I found Taronja. Well, now that this experience is about to end, I can say that I was right on both counts. At Taronja School I learned a lot – also how to cook paella! – and I didn’t only get to know excellent teachers but also friends. And with Cabanyal, I discovered a neighborhood so interesting I wouldn’t have thought before. Many thanks to everyone and see you soon, because it is certain that the adventure only had begun…
Coco
My name is Coco. I like Taronja and Valencia a lot, because there are many friendly people and different activities. My favorite activities are the Paella Party and Flamenco nights because the paella is very delicious and the Flamenco dance is pretty good. / Coco =)
Matthias
My name is Matthias and I am from Cologne, Germany. I’m 23 years old and I’m a student. I am studying industrial engineering at the Technical University of Aquisgrán. I like Spanish and that is why I want to learn the language. I have studied Spanish before for one year at university. Valencia is a big city but but also not too big and it has a great offer of culture, the beach, a lot of discotheques and bars where you can got out at night. That is why I chose this city in order to do a Spanish course.
I like Taronja School very much. The parties are great and all the other activities are also very good. The teachers are very involved and I have learned a lot.
Carlos
Hi I’m Charlos the teacher with the most beard at TARONJA. I’m from of a beautiful city at the coast called Gandía, cradle of Fideuá which is a type of paella cooked with pasta instead of rice (I love it a lot more than paella :p).
I came to TARONJA long after finishing my studies in Spanish Philology at the University of Valencia in 2007. How time flies! I love my job because it’s like a dream for me to meet so many people interested in my language and my culture. As for my hobbies I love animals: I have a very cute black cat named Coco, I love soccer (Amunt Valencia CF) and I love all types of modern music from hip-hop to metal, especially in Spanish . I hope to see you in one of my classes. A hug! Rock!
Doriana
I have greatly enjoyed my time at the Spanish school. I have been very comfortable with the group and the professors. The Spanish classes were also amusing. I would have loved the Spanish course to be longer and therefore I believe I will come back.
Christine
Hi, I’m Christine!
I think Valencia is a beautiful city. There are many beautiful buildings and the weather is very nice. I learn a lot of useful Spanish. I really like the Spanish school and the teachers are very nice.
Adela
My name is Adela and I am the longest-serving teacher at the Spanish school. I’m Valencian and passionate about my country, its cuisine, its landscapes, its traditions, etc. As a child I loved to read and write stories and as I grew older I decided to be a specialist in Spanish language and literature and so I studied Spanish Philology. In my time as a Spanish teacher I have learned to enjoy my profession. To teach others and help them on their path of learning is a task full of enriching and unforgettable moments.
Another of my greatest passions are cats and I can assure you that my cats, Batman and Sultan, are unique in their kind. They are Persian cats and I have to brush their fur to be shiny every day.
I do not do any sports but I’m going to Flamenco classes to stay in shape, to learn to coordinate the whole body and disconnect me from the world.
Well, a big salute and hopefully see you very soon!
Cristina
Hello!
I’m Cristina, I’m 17 years old and I’m from Italy. It’s the first time here in Valencia for me. It is a beautiful city with many opportunities for young people. The historical center is also very nice. Taronja School is very good. The teachers are young and very prepared. Spanish classes are small, with people from all around the world. Your talking a lot and your also listening to plenty of music.I have really enjoyed these two weeks in Valencia and at Taronja School!
Martin
I’m Martin from Holland. By now I have only studied at Taronja School for one week but I liked it so far very much.
I’ve had Spanish classes in a group with people from many different countries. The Spanish classes were fun and interesting. Every day you could take part in an activity organized by the Spanish school. In the end, a very cool time!
Mila
My name is Mila from Bulgaria and I came to Spain to study the language and practice Spanish. I have not only made friends from different cultures, but also have I experienced unforgettable memories. A language is not only grammar but also self confidence. In Valencia people are lovable in all aspects. The most important thing for me was not only to go to parties and even less study as a bookworm. The most important were these two things – seize every moment and make the best out of them,
It is worth it.
