Ysaline

My name is Ysaline and i stayed 5 months in Valencia and in the school Taronja. When i arrived at Valencia i wasn’t able to speak one word in spanish. I’ve never studied spanish. But after one week with 4 hours of classes and more beach than ever i could speak and understood without any problems. Today is my penultimate day ad i can’t believe that i’m leaving all this behind me. I made friends who i never will forget, memories which are one of the best in my life. Also i learned a beautiful lenguage and this so fast. It’s amazing! I wont forget the people i got to know, the places i’ve been to and the teachers i had. Taronja is not a school like the others. Taronja is a family, a community  of brilliant, crazy, funny, incredible and unforgetable people, whether teachers, grant holder or student. While these 5 months i stayed in a spanish family. It couldn’t have been better: tipical food, tipical life. It was such a great experience. Also the activities which are organised from the school help you to discover the spanish life. I want to say thank you to all the persons who made this trip to an incredible and unique experience. Ysaline Colonval Belgica

Everybody was so nice!

Everything was so great: the houses and the activities! In all the time i learned so many things. And the activities are very interesting, for example the Flamencoshow or other very funny activities like the Beachparty! But the most important thing is that the teachers and everybody from the school is so kind and nice!   monika biergans

There are no words which could discribe how much i liked the whole experience here.»Taronja» is a school with maniacs, from the teachers to the students and empoyers… but it’s a great type of crayzness which you can’t see in other places like this : It’s a positive crazyness, which always makes you laugh and smile. I will always keep the teachers, which i had in class, and the ones, who shared their time between a lot of books with me, in my heart. A huge thank you to all the persons who teached me the language and many other things. And of course the city… the fantastic and beautiful city where it never gets cold ( well almost never ) and i’m really in love with. And thanks to the persons who offered me get to know all these special friends here. Every person in general who was here, not important if it was a student, a worker or any other person, they never leave completely. They always leave a little part of them at the school and the school always has a open door for everyone. At the end i’m really thankfull for everyone who took part in the school; the two Martas ( the blonde one and the the one with the red hair ), the chef Nando, Maxi, Miguel 🙂 It’s amazing to think back at this 3 months. I will miss everyone sooooooo bad !! In every way, as i always say and think, this isn’t a «Bye» but it’s a honestly ment «See you soon» 🙂 CIAO TARONJA!!!!! Laura from Italy

4 weeks in the school!

I’m 54 years old and 30 years ago i quitted learning spanish in my school. A few days ago i decided to start learning spanish again. I chose Taronja because the school has a very informative webside and my agency recommended it. I enjoyed the time in Valencia and wih Taronja. Normally there are 4-7 students in one class and my class had 4. The level of the class was perfect for me. The Teacher are also nice, active and flexible. I was the oldest student of all, but that wasn’t a problem. My favorit activitades of the week were the cookingclass with chef Nando and the Paella Partys. Nando cooked the food and explained the recipe with a lot of impetus. At the Weekends i loved to go hiking in the mountains. I went by car to the park of Penyagolosa ( 150km northern Valencia ) and to the Serrellas ( 150km southern Valencia ). The Hikingtours were absolutely awesome! The mixture was perfect. I’ve learned the  language so fast. After 4 weeks i can speak spanish quite well and i loved staying in Valencia! Best regards Frank

«Here time passed very fast, so fast that I didn’t realize that today is my last day here in Taronja. Valencia stole a part of my heart; here I have lots of memories connected to many people. I believe I’m going to come back to this magic and lovely city. I’m going to miss a lot of people, firstly the boys and girls from different parts of the world, and also the teachers of the school. A big kiss.»

The time I spent in Valencia has been short but very beautiful. I like a lot the school and the teachers. They’re kind, lovely and very helpful. Furthermore I like a lot the activities out of the school. Although I’ve been only for a short time, it has been very funny, and now I know people from other countries.

I liked the time I spent in Valencia, the school is very good. The activities such as Friday parties or  excursions in the weekend have been unforgettable. The activities have been good to meet other students. Even the teachers have been very kind. Mainly I had fun during my time in the school.

Hi everyone! My name’s Vici and I’m from Austria. This summer I spent three weks in Taronja school, Valencia. I chose this school because I liked the many activities and its vitality. The classes were very funny and the teachers so lovely. However, what I liked the most were the social activities, because I had the opportunity to learn Spanish in informal situations and I met lots of nice people.
