Valentina y Vito

valentina d'andrea y vito messina Hi guys! We are Vito and Valentina, an italian couple. We chose this school because it was cheaper than de other Spanish schools. It was the best option! Valencia is a wonderful city, the food is tasty, people are very kind! There are many places if you want to hang out: you can drink something near Plaza Tossal (there’s a chupitería with more than 200 strange chupitos, can you believe that?), Barrio del Carmen, or making «botellón» in Turia’s Park or at the port, and there are many discos if you want to dance…But the best one is at the Ciudad de las Artes y de Las Ciencias. Yes, in Spain you always have party! And the school…it’s amazing! The director «Chef Nando» is great and he cooks paella every Tuesdays. On Wednesdays there are cooking classes where you can learn how to cook the typical Spanish food, and sometimes he cooks also on Fridays, when there are thematic parties on the beach. All the activities are very funny, since Monday with the «Tapas Tour» until the weekend with the excursions, you can’t get bored! The Spanish classes are always dynamic and the students speak a lot, while the teachers are good and nice. We have to thank Victor (Manuel), Ana, Ricardo and Noelia, spending time with you in the classroom and outside has been amazing! We’re going to miss you! And the last thought goes to all the friends we met here: Laura, Luis, Alessandra (x2), Benedetta,Francesca, Alessandro, Virginia, Daniela, Elisa, Gloria, Andrea, Stella, Giulia, Silvia, Pier, Pigi, Viviana, Zen, Vale y Dan. See you soon in Italy! Thanks to all our friends. These holidays wouldn’t have been the same without you! You’ll always be in our hearts!
¡Hasta luego Valencia! ¡Hasta luego Taronja!

Hi guys! My name’s Francesca, I’m 19 and I’m from Italy. I’m here to practice photography for three months and I’ve studied in the Taronja school for two weeks. Everything is great! I’ve done a lot of experience and I’ve met a lot of people from all over the world! You can do many activities in the school: «Tapas Tour» to meet the new students, cooking class with the Chef Nando, where you can see and taste typical dishes from Spain and lots of parties in the weekend! The teachers are very beautiful and kind and in a small time I’ve learnt a lot. Taronja is more than a school! Although I’ve finished the Spanish course, I believe I will keep on enjoying the school activities. Thanks to everyone in particular to my tutor Fernando!

I’m going to miss you!

Intern Nina

1077080_624289260928238_90882066_oHey there! My name is Nina, I’m 23 years old and I’m from Germany. I had to do an internship abroad for my university for 3 months. For the first month I was in Canada but I felt very bad there, for various reasons. One day I talked to my friend Antonia, who was doing her internship at TARONJA, via Skype and I asked her if they need another intern because I wanted to change my internship… FASTLY! And what can I say.. since July I am here! I feel great here, I made many wonderful experiences, I met a bunch of amazing people and I made friendships for the rest of my life (I hope!). When I arrived here, my colleagues said «Here at taronja we are like a family» – it’s true. Taronja really is a big family where everybody is welcome from the first second on. After work, we interns always went to the activities together with the students. At Taronja we organize activities for every day of the week and they are perfect for getting to know the students, teachers and chefs of the school. I can’t tell what I like most of Valencia and Taronja. I like everything! The city, the beach, the Spanish people, the food (especially the Paella of Nando..hmmmm!), the classes… everything. Time went by so fast, I feel like I still am in my first week here, but it actually is my last and I have to leave in two days. How sad! When you go to Taronja you will meet loads of people from all around the world: Italians (lots of them :D), Dutch, Danes, Chinese, Germans, Poles, English and of course Spanish. I have to say that the classes in school are very very good. The teachers are always friendly and they help you with every problem you may have. When I arrived at Valencia, I couldn’t speak Spanish that well. Now I talk faster and more confident. I like! 😉 I’m sure that I will return to Valencia and Taronja… maybe next year as a student? Taronjeros, I want to thank you for giving me the chance to work with you, for this wonderful time, for everything. I’m leaving with one eye laughing and one eye crying. Maany kisses, Nina

Intern Antonia

Antonia ZeissHi everyone! My name is Antonia, I’m 21 years old and I’m from Hamburg. Last year, I was here in Valencia for 3 weeks as a student of Taronja. I loved it, so when I knew that I have to do my internship in a foreign city I thought «I will return to Valencia». So I applied for an intership here at Taronja. And here I am! I arrived at Valencia on June 3 and now, 3 months later, I have to go to back to Germany. I leave with a bag of amazing experiences, adventures and very funny days. And most importantly friendships for the whole life. I can’t count the people I met here. People from the Netherlands, Italy, Russia, Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland, England and many more.  Because that’s for sure, when you arrive here, you will meet people from all over the world who also stay here to learn Spanish. I always liked to travel to get to know other cultures, manners and countries. But I also thought that I have to visit all the different countries for that. But no. Here at TARONJA you can get to know all of this when you are with the people from other countries. When you eat together with other persons, you recognize the different manners, also when you talk to them and most importantly when you ask them about their countries, they tell you many interesting things. For example, I didn’t know that the temperature in Russia can be -70 degrees. How cold! But these are not the only reasons why I returned. TARONJA is like a big family, after the TAPAS TOUR on monday, you know round about every student, new and old ones. The school may be small, but it really is a huge family. In my three months here I met almost 200 great people. Every tuesday our bosses Nando and Maxi are cooking a Paella for the entire school. And every wednesday you can see, learn the vocab and try what Nando cooks in his cooking class. I’m not only saying this because I was the intern during 3 months, but because it is something I really like. The school offers many activities every day of the week. It is very important that you join them because you will meet the people who also are at the school. =) Well, I could write many things more but I think it’s better if you make your own experiences when you come to  TARONJA! So only 3 words at the end: SEE YOU GUYS! PS: Chiiicooooooooooos vamoooooooooos will be famous one day xD Kisses, Antonia

Tabea

Tabea HauslerHi boys and girls! I am Tabea, I’m from Berlin and I study cultural sciences in university. One part of my studies is languages. That’s why I wanted to improve my Spanish in Valencia. A mixture of vacations and going to school is perfect. I’m satisfied with the teachers, the lessons and the organization of Taronja. The activities in the evening were very funny. In addition, Valencia is a very beautiful city. That’s why I want to come back one day! Thank you very much!

Alina

Alina TuckerHi everyone! I’m Alina and I study Spanish at university. I decided to improve my Spanish in the courses of Taronja in Valencia. I am completely satisfied with the school and the teachers. I had a fantastic experience! The city is very beautiful and there are always things to do. I got to know the Spanish culture with various activities and I generally had a great time. I learned a lot of vocabulary that I can use in the daily life. For all these reasons I like Taronja a lot and I recommend it to every Spanish student. Many greetings, Alina

Monika

monika biergansIt was a great experience at Taronja School! I like the teachers very much because they were friendly and also the activities of the school because they are a good posibility to meet other students and to speak Spanish with them. With the activities you can also get to know the city of Valencia and it’s environment. It is very beautiful! I recommend Taronja School to everyone who wants to learn Spanish with a lot of fun and in a friendly environment!

Mike

Mike FähI can recommend to everyone to go to Valencia y especially to Taronja School. Valencia is a very beautiful city and there is a huge diversity in the different areas. In the district «Carmen»  you can eat in every style. There are not only tapas, but also Paella, Italian and Portuguese restaurants and many things more. The Turia parc i unique in the whole world! It was a river before, but today there are fountains, flowers, trees, bridges, and a quiet and nice atmosphere. Of course, I can also recommend many things more, like the beach, the district «Ruazafa» and the monuments of Valencia. I you want to party, you have to come to Valencia. Here, the nights are incredible! The teachers of the school are very friendly. The majority does a perfect job! In this month I learned a lot. I came to Valencia without speaking any Spanish and  I speak much better now.

Benedetta

Benedetta MieliHi everyone! My name is Benedetta, I am 18 years old and I am from Italy. I passed 5 very funny weeks at Taronja School. Here you can learn Spanish very fast, with freandly teachers and you can also meet other people from all around the world. It is not possible to not make friends! But being at Taronja not only means studying, the school offers many extracurricular activities every day. For example the Tapas Tour or the Paella Party that are typical Spanish. In addition, Valencia is a wonderful city. I will miss you so much, Taronja Family, thank you for everything! Benedetta

Chiara

Chiara PontilloHi! I passed one month in Valencia and I can assure that Taronja is the best school for learning Spanish in Valencia! There are plenty of activities like the Tapas Tour, the Welcome Paella and the party on the beach on Friday, that allow you not only to meet other students, but also to talk to all the teachers outside the school, maybe drinking a beer and taking a trial of the Spanish you have already learned. Since the teachers are very young, you will find a serene, motivating and very funny atmosphere in class! Valencia is a super beautiful city and totally passable on foot or by bicycle. I’d like to greet in particular Lucía, Alex, Javí and especially Ana, who from the first to the last week has behaved as a friend, always correcting the same typical mistakes of the Italians (I will probably dream of the differences between por and para when I return to Italy!) and that’s why I always went to Taronja smiling. 🙂

Mariia

Mariia DorogovaThis is my first time in valencia and in your school. This visit was unforgettable for me. I liked everything. The teachers are very friendly. The activities were very interesting. I went to the Tomatina and this party was very crazy but you have to see it!

Letizia

LetiziaIn general Taronja is a very open, welcoming and serious school. I had two very different weeks because during the first weeks I prepared myself for the DELE C1 exam and I had private lessons. I liked them very much and I learned a lot: it was a good challenge. During the second week in return I joined the dynamic group which is good because you get to know new students, but it’s also bad because sometimes the levels are different inside the group. If I had known that, I would have chosen two individual weeks to take advantage of the classes and learn more. I also liked the activities, but I would prefer to go out with Spanish people rather than with other students.
