My name is Matthias and I am from Cologne, Germany. I’m 23 years old and I’m a student. I am studying industrial engineering at the Technical University of Aquisgrán. I like Spanish and that is why I want to learn the language. I have studied Spanish before for one year at university. Valencia is a big city but but also not too big and it has a great offer of culture, the beach, a lot of discotheques and bars where you can got out at night. That is why I chose this city in order to do a Spanish course.

I like Taronja School very much. The parties are great and all the other activities are also very good. The teachers are very involved and I have learned a lot.

Hi I’m Charlos the teacher with the most beard at TARONJA. I’m from of a beautiful city at the coast called Gandía, cradle of Fideuá which is a type of paella cooked with pasta instead of rice (I love it a lot more than paella :p). I came to TARONJA long after finishing my studies in Spanish Philology at the University of Valencia in 2007. How time flies! I love my job because it’s like a dream for me to meet so many people interested in my language and my culture. As for my hobbies I love animals: I have a very cute black cat named Coco, I love soccer (Amunt Valencia CF) and I love all types of modern music from hip-hop to metal, especially in Spanish . I hope to see you in one of my classes. A hug! Rock!

I have greatly enjoyed my time at the Spanish school. I have been very comfortable with the group and the professors. The Spanish classes were also amusing. I would have loved the Spanish course to be longer and therefore I believe I will come back.

Adela

Adela, professor at Taronja School

My name is Adela and I am the longest-serving teacher at the Spanish school. I’m Valencian and passionate about my country, its cuisine, its landscapes, its traditions, etc. As a child I loved to read and write stories and as I grew older I decided to be a specialist in Spanish language and literature and so I studied Spanish Philology. In my time as a Spanish teacher I have learned to enjoy my profession. To teach others and help them on their path of learning is a task full of enriching and unforgettable moments. Another of my greatest passions are cats and I can assure you that my cats, Batman and Sultan, are unique in their kind. They are Persian cats and I have to brush their fur to be shiny every day. I do not do any sports but I’m going to Flamenco classes to stay in shape, to learn to coordinate the whole body and disconnect me from the world. Well, a big salute and hopefully see you very soon!

Hello! I’m Cristina, I’m 17 years old and I’m from Italy. It’s the first time here in Valencia for me. It is a beautiful city with many opportunities for young people. The historical center is also very nice. Taronja School is very good. The teachers are young and very prepared. Spanish classes are small, with people from all around the world. Your talking a lot and your also listening to plenty of music.I have really enjoyed these two weeks in Valencia and at Taronja School!

I’m Martin from Holland. By now I have only studied at Taronja School for one week but I liked it so far very much. I’ve had Spanish classes in a group with people from many different countries. The Spanish classes were fun and interesting. Every day you could take part in an activity organized by the Spanish school. In the end, a very cool time!

My name is Mila from Bulgaria and I came to Spain to study the language and practice Spanish. I have not only made friends from different cultures, but also have I experienced unforgettable memories. A language is not only grammar but also self confidence. In Valencia people are lovable in all aspects. The most important thing for me was not only to go to parties and even less study as a bookworm. The most important were these two things – seize every moment and make the best out of them,

It is worth it.

Christine

Christine Edelmann, alumna septiembre2012 My name is Christine, I am German and I spent one week at the Spanish School. I really enjoyed that time because in our group we had a good atmosphere and I learned many interesting things about life and people in Valencia and Spain in general. I’ll also never forget the night of the Tapas Tour or the Oktoberfest. It was great fun! The visit in Valencia was an excellent experience and would like to stay a little longer. Goodbye!

Want to experience an unforgettable vacation? Want to live a fantastic EXPERIENCE while you study Spanish with people from overaround the world? Then So the «Taronja» School in Valencia is the best choice! My name is Lena and I am from Germany. I spent three weeks in Valencia in the summer of2012. I have to say that Valencia is the best place to have a vacation and, of course, your language filled trip. The city is very beautiful and there are many possibilities to discover the Spanish culture. With the school, you will get to know a lot about Spanish culture because it offers many different activities for the students. For example, the Paella and Tapas Tour party are great ways to learn about the typical food of the country. The parties are beautiful because you can spend your holidays with the bulls in Picassent, which is typical of the culture as well. On the weekends you go to the beach with your new friends and at night you party at one of the many nightclubs in Valencia! Here, I spent a nice time with great people! Overall, I can say that it was a great experience! Do not miss out and enjoy your language experience here, in Valencia! You will not regret it!
