I arrived in Valencia on July 3rd. I went to a hotel near the «City of Arts and Siencias». I visited Valencia seven years ago, and I still remember the Oceanografico Parc, even though I had only been once. But this time I stayed for about three weeks in Valencia with my family. The first week we were dealing with the apartment we bought in Burjassot, we had to buy beds, sofa, etc.. The second week we visited the city of Sciencias, Parc Gulliver, the English Court, the beach and the center of the city. At night, sometimes we went to «Meron City» in Burjassot for dinner, or played a game of bowling. This week is my first and last week at Taronja. I liked the people, teachers, and the environment but I can not stay another week because we have already booked a hotel in Barcelona for Wednesday. Often, I like the organisation in Valencia, the architecture, parks and how close we are to the beach. I would like to visit the historic center during my stay in Valencia, and have fun with the people I know at the Taronja school.

Maria
Hallo, my name is Maria, I’m 23 years old and I am from Milan which is a city in the north of Italy. This is the first time I’m in Spain and I am in Valencia by now for two weeks. I came to Taronja School in order to study the language because I do like Spain and its culture. I love the Spanish school and the professors are young, friendly and funny.
Bibiana
Hi, I’m Bibiana from Brussels. I’m studying in Valencia for two weeks. Valencia is a good place to combine holidays and study Spanish. I like talking Spanish to Spanish people. I have chosen Taronja School in order to learn the Spanish language, as well as I had studyied it before coming to Taronja. During my two weeks I liked the beautiful beach, the city and the friendly people of Valencia. I learned new words at the Spanish school, but for me some classes were not very dynamic. I really liked the cooking class of Chef Nando and the tapas tour in restaurants in the district of Ruzafa. Too bad there was no Tandem – Language Exchange (conversation tables) with natives in July but I was also glad because I put more effort in talking with my friends from Valencia.
Álex
Hello! My name is Álex and I am a teacher at the Spanish School. I was born in Valencia and although I enjoy traveling, I’ve always lived here. I studied law for three years but I realized I would never be a good lawyer because they are very serious, so I studied Spanish Philology.
I love being a Spanish teacher because I get to know many people who tell me things about their countries and cultures, and every day you learn something new.
I like the classic motorbikes but usually I go everywhere by bicycle! I also like sports such as tennis and squash, but my favorite of all is ping pong or table tennis, how we call it in Spanish.
Other hobbies are reading and watching movies from other countries. Although I prefer Spain, I also love the French culture and cuisine and so I’ve put a photo in Paris. Ah! I have a cat because it’s my favorite animal, called Dalí.

Before my vacation here, I thought that Valencia is a boring city, but now, Valencia is my favorite place. It is a place with nice appearence, good food and friendly people.
I studied in Taronja School in Valencia and it helped me to improve my Spanish. I can speak and unterstand now better than I did before. It is a valuable opportunity to communicate with people from different countries. In addition there are many activities, such as the paella party, cooking classes and the tapas tour. In Valencia I really like the paella and the beach. The beach here is very nice and I enjoyed swimming in the beach, and at night I went to the San Juan Festival, which is very interesting. My vacation here is very interesting and I will not forget it.

Speak and live like the Spanish people- that’s my wish. I’m living in a house with natives to have that experience, and thanks to Taronja School I practice my Spanish in all aspects, above all communication. Although the schedule of the school seems to be a challenge and also the possibilites the city has to offer, I love everything here. So, I am in Valencia for the third time.
Valencia offers everybody to have a wonderful time: cultural offers especially in July with all the events e.g. in the Turía, music, the beach to enjoy the sun and the heat and of course Taronja School where they teach with encouragement, motivation and all in all friendly.
Above all I like the young teachers as Alex, Victor, and Sergio: their Spanish classes have a good balance of new vocabulary, grammar and current issues. And of course the most important thing here is to speak. I also like Taronja School because of their activities after the cooking and culture classes.
In addition, there is a good balance of nationalities at the Spanish school: people are coming from all over the world to learn Spanish at Taronja School – so that, you’re also always learning interesting facts of other parts of the world.

Fuck, what a Spanish school! (Forgive me for using this language, Mariajo – a professor at Taronja School) It is not the first Spanish school I visit, but since I walked in the door I could feel a very positive atmosphere and optimism, I was involved in immediately. The teachers are highly qualified, professional, brilliant and sociable and with the great fantasy of them the lessons are far away from being boring.
The extracurricular activities are great, very attractive and sometimes epic! Both, students and teachers, gather in large numbers for cultural trips, dinners, parties and other activities that vary depending on the week. The school has just the right size to create a family atmosphere where you have the opportunity to experience a huge variety and knowledge of different cultures. Valencia is a very cool city, with an interesting historical center, a great beach and several neighborhoods, where people go out to eat and have parties. Unfortunately my adventure only lasted for two weeks, but without a doubt I would recommend the school to all those who want to study in Valencia! Taronja, thank you very much for the memorable experience!Angel
I’m Angel. I think Valencia is a beautiful city. There are many constructions. I live with a family. She is a cook and she can prepare delicious food. She’s very nice. I like ham very much. I want to eat ham everyday. But I do not like to have class at 9. I want to sleep more.
Mathias
Hello all! My name is Mathias, and the children in my Valencian family tell me that the «alias» for my name in Spanish is «aunt», as in the wife of a man, but I think that they are only kidding.I’m from Belgium, the small German-speaking part. What, say that again?!! German? No! I feel that i’m more Belgian. The problem is that Germany has lost all of its wars. The people at the school are friendly and always in a good mood. My family is great! She helps me with all of my problems and try to speak to me in Spanish as much as possible.
Taronja School, I will see you later, next yea during my Erasmus year!
See you soon!
Riccardo
Hello! I’m Riccardo, an Italian boy of 23 years. I was in Spain for my first time and it was also the first time of being in a language school for learning Spanish. Taronja School is perfect in every aspect. The Spanish teachers are qualified and the thing I liked most is that all teachers are qualified and that they are all young and friendly: it’s like having a few friends more!
The directors and the interns have always organized something. So we could meet other people and experience Valencia. Activities are always fun. I hope to return to Taronja soon – one of the most pleasant experiences of my life!
I’ll miss it!
