I decided to study Spanish in Valencia to experience its famous culture, food, architecture and beautiful beaches. Taronja Spanish School is conveniently located in the city center and it offers many interesting options to complement the Spanish classes, as cooking, dancing…and my favorite, sailing! The sailing experience had been better than I had thought. The Spanish teachers and the staff are friendly and dedicated. Spanish classes have been instructive and fun with current issues and modern situations. I’m looking forward to return. I’m staying.

Tomorrow, I’ll be going back to my house and I’m quite sad because the school is going to leave my heart. The people I’ve met are nice. The teachers are very good and understanding. They are always available and always have a smile on their face. They are very prepared and organised, when working and are always helpful with problems. My stay at Taronja has been amazing, and it seemed like a big family. There was always a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. But most importantly …The daily structure! Aside from there always being parties there were many activities and you could get to know many students from all over the world. I learned a lot and I improved my Spanish. I would have liked to have had more time for grammatical classes, cultural, traditional, proverbs and Spanish “slang” classes. I would advise the world to study and enjoy life at Taronja in Valencia. I have not really found any faults. It is very organised, it has great workers and they are all beautiful – A superb, atmospheric and faultless school. And as they say in Spain, “¡He estado de puta madre!” : D Thank you all: Chef Nando, Maxi, Martha, Sam, Alex, Victor, Mariajo, Sadaf, Tobias, Cisco, Kim and all of the other people that form a part of Taronja.   www.spanishcoursespain-valencia.com

I had a good time in Valencia. I stayed there for two weeks, and I have seen many places, as the bullring square, the shopping streets, the ‘Las Arenas’ beach and a nightclub. In addition, I studied at Taronja School and I learned very much, I think my Spanish has improved a lot and also the teachers are very nice and funny, and therefore I liked to study here. When I was in Valencia, there was the Eurocup and I always went to watch the games. The atmosphere was very good, but I also thought the Spanish were crazy – always drinking and being drunk but I loved Spain very much.

I chose Valencia due for its beaches, cuisine and climate and above all because of my favorite dish: the black paella. Since Chef.Nando cooks the best paella in the world there was no better choice than Taronja. I fell in love with Valencia at first sight. I loved the color of the sky here. By the way, my best friend in this town was «google maps», who was always with me when I was lost. During the first week I took a new way to school every day. But I liked it a lot because I could see more of the city. I have been here at Taronja for four weeks and tomorrow will be my last day. Time flies! I experienced many unforgettable moments. The Spanish classes and teachers were fun. I learned through music, cuisine and other activities. What I liked most were the parties. (I have to emphasize that the night of San Juan was magical! ❤) Well, if I have time and money, I will come back in March for Fallas or/and in June to see the Profra. Adela dance. See you! A hug for everyone. Up, down, center, inside! (spanish toast)

Hello. My name is Dario and I am a Spanish teacher at Taronja School. I’m from Benimaclet, a district in the north of Valencia. Now I live in London, where I work as a Spanish and French teacher. But in summer I always come back to Taronja because I love working in an international environment. I have a degree in Philosophy from the University of Valencia and I have a masters degree in Language Teaching at Sheffield Hallam University (UK). I’m passionate about music. I’m a singer and sometimes I give concerts in Valencia to animate the staff. I also love swimming and philosophy (especially the one at the bar). The photo shows me drinking orange juice (in Valencian «suc de taronja»). I guess you know that Valencias oranges are the best in the world for its sweet flavor and carnose texture. In my Spanish classes I try to make people have fun, and above that to learn a good deal. So, if you come to my Spanish classes …Get ready because you are going to work hard! Taronja rocks!

After two weeks at Taronja School, I can say that it was a good experience for me. I’ve met many international students and have established relationships with girls who are very nice. I loved that the school organised many activities like the party last Friday at the beach. I had a great time. Now I will tell you a little bit about myself. As I said, my name is Jessica and I am 22 years old. I’m from Fürth which is located in southern Germany near Nurember. It is very famous for its Christmas fair. My hobbies are traveling, meeting my friends, going to parties and playing tennis. I am currently working in a private clinic here in Valencia called Fivasa Clinic. I’m a girl and I work a lot at the recepion administrative. I love it. In relation to Valencia I don’t really have an opinion but I am very happy and I like the city and also the beach and buildings. Finall, i’d like to give my thanks for a very nice stay.

I am a student from Hong Kong. It’s the first time I went to Spain. I think Valencia is a very ancient and quiet city. Life here is more relaxed than in Hong Kong. I have lived with a very nice family. Because they do not speak English I can practice my Spanish. I like the Spanish school because they offer many activities and it is very interesting here. I enjoy my Spanish studies here a lot!

Taronja School staff is very friendly, pleasant and fun. In the Spanish class were many students, but I was here in summer and everybody got mixed up. I think Spanish is very interesting. Teachers talk to students after their work. I like the many activities during the week. Every day was an activity-for example paella party, beach party, garden party… I also really like the free classes – the culture class. Fernando’s best cuisine. I love it. I want to visit Valencia again. 🙂

Hi, I’m Sergio! I teach Spanish at Taronja School since 2008. I studied Spanish Philology at the University of Valencia. I studied also the CAP (the studies to be a teacher). A language is something you can learn in a creative and fun way. Through music, songs, movies and not only by studying grammar. I love teaching my language to students from other cultures. It’s rewarding. To share culture with others always makes you develop as a person. Spanish is not a difficult language. It is only a language that needs motivation, passion and effort. Everyone can learn it and also at any age. For me music is very important and one day a week I take the guitar to school to sing with the students, so vocabulary can be learned in a different and more fun way. So if you come to Taronja, you will have fun studying.

Hi, I’m Yachi from Taiwan. I have been a student at Taronja for 7 weeks by now, time goes by so fast. I believe I improved my Spanish during this time because I could not speak one complete sentence in the first week of Spanish classes. Besides, I like Valencia, it is a beautiful city, there are different museums, an old town and the beach. I also like Taronja School because the teachers are patient and kind, I have learned a lot with them and the students. I live with a great family and so I can also practice Spanish with them. Well, Valencia is a good experience for me and I hope I will return soon. See you soon!

Hi, I’m Mary from Canada. Taronja School is the best! I studied Spanish in Valencia for six weeks and I am very happy I chose this school. The Spanish classes have the perfect number of people and are always fun. Sometimes Sergio, a teacher, brings his guitar and plays songs in Spanish and we all sing together. In the Spanish classes we talked a lot and in just six weeks I feel like I’ve learned a lot. Outside the classrooms is the Spanish school also amazing. Every day there is some kind of activity that is always fun. The past weekend, for example, we went to La Albufera where the paella was invented and ate delicious and very typical food of Spain. The parties are fun too! I have met many interesting people here in Taronja and I am sad because I’m leaving. If your going to Taronja you will not regret it.
